Rasharkin PS & St. Patrick's PS, Rasharkin
The Shared Education partnership between Rasharkin Primary School and St. Patrick’s Primary has grown over the past 5 years. Having worked together previously, there has been a strong continual bond built up between pupils and staff but also among the local community.
Over the years more children throughout both schools have had the opportunity to participate in all things shared – Forest Schools, WAU, ICT, PE, local history, and art. St. Patrick’s and Rasharkin Primary’s aim is to deliver areas of the curriculum in a fun, stimulating and exciting way while allowing all children the opportunity to get involved, learn about other culutres and develop new friendships.

Markethill PS and St. Patrick’s PS Crossmaglen

This partnership has taken part in a variety of Shared Education projects and initiatives such as Play Based Learning, WAU, Salmon Project, Pushkin, Music, Art, History, Sport and places a strong focus on community connections.
Staff, pupils and the wider community have benefitted from a range of teaching and learning experiences through this collaboration. St. Anne’s PS, Corkey & Knockahollet PS
St. Anne’s Primary and Knockahollet Primary are both small rural schools four miles from each other. They have a long standing, successful history of working together over the years and joined the Shared Education Signature Project in 2016.
Shared Education has enabled the schools to develop programmes which have enhanced the learning experiences of pupils, enabled staff to build personal and professional relationships and connected the schools to both sides of the local, close knit community.
All children and staff within both schools are involved in shared activity. Knockahollet and St. Anne’s feel that curricular areas which lend themselves to hands on and group interaction such as PE, WAU, Art, Music and PDMU allow for greater engagement and ultimately increased opportunity for children to get to know one another and facilitates good relationship building.
