My Comments
The YouTube video shows a moving geometric star object that is very strange and looks like Mexican ceiling decoration.
The curved flight path of the object looks non-functional in standard coordinate systems. Perhaps the star object is an interstellar greeting, signal, or a sign post from a multi-dimensional ET.
Truly amazing, if you look at the first few seconds of the YouTube video, it contains many horizontal and vertical redaction bars.

An 8-point star pattern during a weapon discharge is a visual phenomenon primarily caused by muzzle flash interacting with an external device (like a muzzle brake or flash enhancer), low-light optics/scoping, or night-vision equipment. It indicates high-pressure gas expansion or optical blooming.
Muzzle Brakes and Enhancers: Certain muzzle attachments are specifically designed to direct escaping gases in multiple directions to reduce recoil. Devices like the DoubleStar Carlson Nitro Flash Enhancer are known to shape the expanding gases into defined star or "ring of fire" patterns.
Optical and Thermal Blooming: Viewing a discharge through night vision, thermal imaging, or even certain illuminated rifle scopes can cause a bright flash to "bloom." The internal circuitry or the lenses of the scope often project this light outwards into a geometric, starry shape.
Environmental/Light Conditions: In pitch-black conditions, the sudden, brilliant release of burning, un-combusted gunpowder illuminates the immediate 3-5 feet around the barrel. The contrast against the dark background makes the explosive gas plume highly visible, occasionally taking on a geometric form as the pressure drops rapidly.
Note: The path, contrail, and duration of the event still in my opinion make it a UAP. Also, unknown if more sensors such as radar, not only infrared were used.

My Comments
According to theoretical physicist Michio Kaku anomalies may be caused by accumulation of space debris the comet encountered as it traversed space for many billions of years.
The space debris explanation is similar to how UFOs are often explained as flocks of birds which is a handy catch-all category for UFO debunkers.
In the opinion of the SETI Nuggets editor, if anomalies change in real time they are probably not caused by eons of debris.
Some astronomers have recently seen real-time changes such as anomalous loss of the comet's tail and an external change in color to blue contrary to standard known science.
My conclusion is there is a low probability, based on the scientific evidence provided so far, to opine the comet is alien technology. Of course that conclusion would be severely undermined if NASA is hiding facts such as high resolution images clearly showing alien technology.

My Comments
On July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon. The Apollo project ended with Apollo 17 launched in 1972.
There was a 50 year gap in the timeline for US missions to the Moon.
Now SpaceX would like to seed Mars with human life.
If anyone can provide a backup system on Mars for human life it could be SpaceX. Actually, visiting the Moon and Mars is on my bucket list.
Elon should consider: Von Neumann probes, panspermia, and the story of Noah. Will the SpaceX rockets to Mars bring lions, horses, cows, zebras?

NASA would not delay a return of crew on the Starliner if the risk was determined to be substantial. Why doesn't SpaceX send a rescue rocket now instead of making the astronauts wait until February 2025?

Unfortunately, Tim Gallaudet leaves out details of the conversations. What did the participants say?
Perhaps, 'How's it going?' is a great way to break the ice. Maybe the ET's have traveled so far they want to relax.
Conclusion
This interview with U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet is more or less a smoking gun. The public still needs to be shown images of UFOs and ETs.
The opinion of the SETI Nuggets Editor is the Pentagon is in contact with hon-human intelligence. I believe someone with the experience and clearance levels of the admiral likely will not fabricate a yarn about contact with ETs.

There is no reason Dr Greer should presume to know how many kinds of ET civilizations may be in contact with humans or what is the extent of their scientific knowledge.

The podcast concludes without in-depth research the following: UAPs exist but they are not from extraterrestrials. CFR trot out for the nth time UAP terrestrial origins, grainy images, and weather balloons. This was an uninformed treatment of a serious topic.

My Comments
Prof Lord Martin Rees' opinion about establishing a colony on Mars is probably spot on. Lord Rees opines, "It would be easier to solve climate change on Earth than look to escape to another planet."
SpaceX has not flown any uncrewed rockets to the Moon or Mars. The SETI Nuggets Editor wonders if Elon Musk has an estimate predicting when SpaceX will start building Mars colonies and flying passengers to Mars. Perhaps an upgrade of the SpaceX rockets is needed to a Nimbus2000 flying broomstick.
Kudos to the British Astronomer Royal.
