An article entitled “White tea as a promising antioxidant media additive for sperm storage at room temperature: a comparative study with green tea” has been accepted for publication in Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. This article provides evidence that White Tea extract is an excellent media additive for room temperature sperm storage, to avoid refrigeration deleterious effects.

Grant Award and Communication Accepted - FEBS Congress 2013
A communication entitled "Testicular mitochondrial bioenergetics is altered in pre-diabetes induced by a high-energy diet in rats" by Luis Rato et al has been accepted in the 38th FEBS Congress, which will be held at St. Petersburg, Russia, from 6 to 11 July 2013. Luís Rato was also awarded a FEBS student grant to attend the conference.
