Add Device: Sensor or Peripheral
(3ps) Delete the old sensor if necessary
Have Cx place tape on Bracket
(3ps) Select Add Sensor or Peripheral
(3ps) Click Begin learn mode, then wait until it shows learning mode
Have the Cx Pull the Tab (If they already did that before, just have them take out the battery)
(3ps) Listen for a beep and EXIT/EDIT to appear on 3ps.
Have Cx place Bracket on Sensor
Have Cx mount the Sensor (just put it in the same spot as before)(If they took out battery have them put it back in)
(3ps) Rename the sensor
(3ps) Do a factory restart, inform the cx that this can take 10-15 minutes to show on their side of things
Add Device: Keyfob
Add device
Select add Keyfob
Click Begin learn mode, then wait until it shows learning mode
Have them hold top two buttons
Listen for a beep and EXIT/EDIT to appear on 3ps.
This can take 10-15 minutes to show on the cx side of things.
They can also do a system reset after the fact to have a clean install
Add Device: WiFi Extender
Plug extender into an outlet
Wait for lights to turn from amber to green
Use a needle to hold down the Factory reset button 15 seconds
(if there is a switch, and there may not be, flip it from Access Point to the Extender status
Log into 3ps
Delete the old sensor if necessary
Add device
Click Begin learn mode, then wait until it shows learning mode

Add Device: Z-wave
Smartplug+lamp module+Doorlock+Thermostat
Plug Device into an outlet
Select tools
Add device
Select Z wave (at bottom)
Select Start Z-wave add mode
Have them activate device
(press a button or be plugged in etc)
Sometimes if this fails you may need to try to select delete mode instead
Select Delete Mode
Delete sensor if it pops-up
Now you can do Start Z-wave add mode
Listen for a beep and EXIT/EDIT to appear on 3ps.
Then rename the sensor what it needs to be

Panel Reset
Click on equipment
Click on Panel
Click on Hard Reset (This can take 3-5 minutes)
Send Command (This can take 3-5 minutes)
Screen Black or Starting-up/Standby
Will now show Resideo (manufacturers logo)
Back to normal
Add Sensor/Peripheral
Have Cx place tape on Bracket

Keep old Bracket on wall and have them take off the old Sensor

Have Cx slide Bracket on Sensor

have then wait about 5-15 min for it to appear
Add Z-wave
(3ps) Add Device
Select Z-WAVE
Start Z-Wave Add mode
Have them press button
(3ps)
(Listen for a BEEP)
Click on EXIT/EDIT
(3ps) Rename Sensor
(3ps) Do a system restart if necessary
have then wait about 5-15 min for it to appear
Delete Sensor
Select any sensor on the list
Select DELETE SENSOR
Select the specific sensor(s) you want to remove, then press DELETE

Turn Off/On Notifications for a sensor
They have 3 options for notifications (PUSH, TEXT, EMAIL, [Push just means pop-ups on their home screen]

Once they accept the notification, you can log in as a User to the Web Site (if it wont advance they haven't accept the email)

Entry Delay
They can disable the alarm with a keyfob or app but there is also by default an entry delay to give them time to turn the system off. (It will start to make a couple beeps, when the alarm is triggered it will be rapid beeps)

e sure to make sure other alarms have Instant Perimeter turned Off

this determines if they are connected to wifi on the panel, if not it may take 24 hours to update instead of just 2-6 hours
