Wanted interactions: Gi-hun, Dae-ho, Hyun-ju, Yong-sik, Geum-ja, Jung-bae, Young-mi, Min-su, Thanos (maybe???); In-ho and Jun-ho if you keep in mind that with these last 2 I'm not sure of how to make them interact, it's just that both brothers had some sort of Moment with her or her kid. Primarily I want to explore dynamics that already exist or could have existed, but we can also write her befriending your oc during season 2 and 3 and they both make it (after the game there is no way she's ever telling anyone what happened so I don't see the point in starting there). No Myung-gi unless all you want is hostility that will never end.
Open to ship with: men except 333.
fc: Jo Yu-ri, iconless
Potential triggers: all the ones we see in the tvshow
How she survives the games: either she didn't BREAK her ankle and Myung-gi was able to help her get through the bridge (default), or my/your Hyun-ju saves her after surviving hide and seek (preferred, but only done if requested because I don't want to complicate your life).
At the last tower if Hyun-ju isn't there, going by canon I'd assume that Myung-gi wants to sacrifice at least Gi-hun, so they fight like in canon, but she's sensible enough to push the button first (default). If you don't like this and request a change, then Myung-gi used the lunch-box guy as a sacrifice and they all live.
AFTER the game: she wants NOTHING to do with Myung-gi as a partner or father. She may stick with Gi-Hun because they lived through the same horrors, more or less, or to the character you write who stayed alive.
please do remember I hate writing character-death and I see no point in us writing a thread or two in the game and then your character dies and...? end of interaction or starting over and writing nearly the same things?
some headcanons: I know the wiki calls her sweet but to me she seemed generally closed off, pissed off, and ready to snap at people until she cried in the bathroom, so I'd like to keep that, especially since she seem to have always been alone. She doesn't want Myung-gi to die but that's the extent of her care for him. She looks up to Hyun-ju and Gi-hun a lot. She's not impressed by Thanos. She can't judge Dae-ho because she also told Myung-gi not to participate in the revolution. Geum-ja is extra special to her. In some cases Jun-hee will use mister/miss or sir/ma'am as a way to show respect to older characters unless told to stop.
Her story is messy: orphaned, put into a foster family up until age 8, then taken away due to their financial problems, Jun-hee spends a few years at the orphanage. A social worker takes her case to heart and is finally able to find one of her grandparents, who can take her in. Unfortunately her grandfather only wants the government's money without the responsibilities, so at age 12 Jun-hee is basically left to fend for herself. She starts working after school as soon as possible, lying about her age, then at 16 drops out to work full-time (in a small family-owned factory that allowed her to take a room there), but it's still a very humble, poor life while she puts money aside for the future. The social worker finds her again a couple of years later, and even if she's not a minor anymore does her best to help her, feeling responsible for what happened with her grandfather. Jun-hee finishes school with a GED and moves to a bigger factory, gets a low-rent small place, starts having a relatively normal life, plans to become a team leader - then she meets Myung-gi and trusts him with his investment, borrowing money in the hope of finally making a jump in quality of life. Unfortunately, we all know how that turned out.
Orientation: straight.
baby name: Hyun-ja in honor of the two women who helped her bring her baby to life.
please do read the wanted interactions above.
