Wanted interactions: X-Men, MCU, DC, Dragon Age (can be a follower or the 'human' mage HoF) but read her bio because she's a JOKE character. Fantasy and other videogames fandoms too, just remember she's got the 'kill-all' code (click and everybody dies).
Open to romantic interactions with: everyone, though she's demi-romantic.
fc: Margot Robbie
disclaimer: she was meant to be a Joke (because overpowered, but will allow you to explore your character's emotions as much as you'd like, and different dynamics, in videogames she's basically "modded") // doesn't have a dark side any more than Barbie does (clothing style similar too) // meant to be generally seen as beautiful, which gave her privileges, and that is why I made a point of mentioning it (your muse is allowed to not to find her attractive, obviously).
Born to be a "modded" overpowered Dragon Age character, I thought "you know what would be funny? to imagine her as a non-angsty mutant who is overpowered but is just... chilling"
If you've seen Deadpool's movies, think Yukio but more two-dimensional and with a lot of brutal murdering involved.
When she's born depends on who she's interacting with.
The point of Solona is that she's genuinely happy and positive. She has no memory of it but she was raised with love and acceptance by a truly loving family, and her power is to make blood explode. In some fandoms instead of a mutant she is, of course, inhuman and exposed to the terrigen mist that caused her to get those powers as a kid. Point is, her power is terrifying but she's the personification of the smile emoji.
She was noticed by Striker (or Hydra or another organization that hurts powered people in your fandom, if Striker can't apply), who kidnapped her to experiment on her and make her another excellent weapon; she was given a serum to get the ability to 'regenerate' and to have a bit of elemental powers (fire, ice, lightning) but to kickstart this she had to be tortured, much like Deadpool. The experiments left her with brain damage, which not only took her memories but made her nearly lose the ability to be negative.
Her regenerative abilities kicked in only after that and it accidentally became the base form she returns to; even if shot in the brain she will regenerate as that brain damaged person and not heal completely. She ages slowly, and her regenerative abilities may eventually fade away.
Solona instinctively exploded everyone in the room with her the moment she woke up, and simply walked away. She read her name on a nametag above her bed. It seemed dangerous to go home if she didn't know whether she would be followed, so she didn't.
She is/was a super positive, optimistic person to begin with, so while she's still capable of feeling some grief/sadness (and she can absolutely get angry, even if it takes a lot to piss her off) she's mostly happy and chill, her brain is constantly producing the chemicals that will make her stay positive or, if anything painful happens, will quickly push her to see silver lining. Lost a bit of empathy maybe, she's very neutral about killing, but will likely listen to the person she's with.
Depending on the universe, she will hear of the "Xavier school" or "Erik's safe place for mutants" from others like her, and happily stroll in that direction, or be recruited by SHIELD/the DEO. She has much better control of her powers now (like blowing up someone's hand from the inside but not the rest of the body) but thinks it's for the best if she learns more. Also, it sounds fun to be there!
Because she has the KILL-ALL console command and mods. Normally she uses other spells because she thinks it's fun to make battles last but she is overpowered. Human mage "hero".
She's found in the Deep Roads by a group of dwarves, surrounded by dead Darkspawn, chilling. Has no memories except for the fact that her name is Solona. It seems they were trying to make her into a BroodMother and died for it. She appeared to be in her late teens and had never seen a spellbook, all her magic is purely from emotion.
She picked the last name Amell on her way to the Circle. And it's immediately obvious that she's incredibly happy and positive and relaxed at all times.
She's VERY gifted which could make her a problem, but because she's so happy to follow Circle rules, is friendly, kind, and has such a pretty face, they let her in; the general idea is that she's too 'simple' to be dangerous. But when it takes less than ten minutes to go through the Harrowing they all freak out and decide to find an excuse to make her Tranquil, because that can't be right. Also maybe they should study her.
She helps Jowan because he asks her to, and even if she warns Irving, if only for their own safety, they use that as the Excuse to tell her she'll be made Tranquil. Duncan "saves her" as much as she 'needs' to be saved (meaning she can walk away without killing everyone) so she thanks them all for the opportunity and leaves. She knows NOTHING of the world besides the few things she was taught at the Circle. She will learn more about humanity as the story goes by and feel more things (there is a reason if her icons come from the Barbie movie)
Her origins are unclear, but the best guess is that she must be some sort of benevolent creature that looks human, and maybe partly is.
She ages and is mortal now, but who knows what she was. She cannot heal people nor can morph. She can learn a few extra spells like levitate things. She basically only uses normal elemental spells because they are fun, the Death Spell (kill-all command) is boring even if needed at times. She can feel things that other people can't (like Flemeth being More). Can go back to the Fade with some effort on her part.
The rest is history, as in DAO really starts.
She's very caring and very excited to meet everyone, finds them all very funny. She really doesn't care about killing en masse, she'll just say "they are the enemy :D", but mostly follows Alistair for moral guidance (which makes Thedas very lucky). Gullible, easily persuaded to do things if she's not already set on a specific choice. Ready to Help.
She travels with a constant smile, she doesn't pass out at the Joining, she doesn't need time to recharge when using spells in Ostagar, just keeps burning/freezing/electrocuting at will. She has a great time! Until Duncan is betrayed. She only needs saving (via Flemeth) because she felt Duncan's death and froze, which allowed an enemy to knock her out. Flemeth can probably feel there is something Different about her. Same for Solona about Flemeth, but she says nothing because nobody asks.
One day the rest of the team sees her not smiling after her Mabari Juliette is hurt in battle, and she immediately kills the entire group of Darkspawn with one move of her hand. This is how they find out that everyone she wants dead and is within thirty feet from her will die on the spot.
It takes her about five seconds to recharge after every hit of the Death spell. So the only reason she doesn't just go up to the Archdemon and kills it on the spot is that she thinks all the different races should fight together to make them remember they are meant to be friends. That and there is enough Darkspawn to tire her, plus she can't be everywhere at the same time. People could get hurt while she tries to do it all alone!
She likes using normal spells, especially lightning the most because pretty lights.
-Loghain dies by Alistair's hand
-Anora is queen (alone). Elves and Werewolves are at peace.
-Bhelen wins the throne.
-The Circle gets rescued.
-She tries to take care of Cullen after, doesn't hold a grudge against anyone there.
-Doesn't harden companions, completes all their missions.
-Kills the Archdemon immediately once she sees it. Either convinced Alistair to perform the ritual because worried about him or she just Could Do That.
-Kills the Architect.
-if you play another HoF, Hawke or Inquisitor or someone in the position of being 'scary/in charge', only ask me to use her if you are okay with the fact that she cannot feel threatened by them and if they are very dark/serious/dominant she'd just be like 'okay lol' and not take them seriously, while still following their orders.
If that bothers you because you feel it's challenging their credibility or any other reason DO NOT interact with her. If she's a follower she could either be found at the Circle during the mission to recruit the mages or have been recruited by Duncan as a Warden not long before your muse was, depending on who you play, and was found on the way to Lothering.
-If you play a Solas and you want her to be able to tell that he's more than just an elf, let me know, it'd be funny if she knew and didn't say anything because nobody asked?? but obviously it depends on your idea of funny.
-if you play an Anders and want him to have safe passage after DA2 tell me and she'll take care of him.
-if you want to use her to retrieve an Alistair/Hawke from the Fade in DAI, you can
-if you play anyone else and you want to change some fundamental part of your muse's life tell me, she probably can do it. Found an undefeatable enemy and snap her fingers to have it die? Done. Remove a demon/spell like it's nothing? Done.
As I said, she's not to be taken too seriously, she's a 'you know what would be funny?' type of character that can easily be played as a follower/companion of your muse (important: she will listen to your muse but she can never be intimidated, seeing as she's overpowered and also lacks the ABILITY to feel that way)
Solona is, due to her natural personality and the brain damage over being experimented on, a never-ending source of cute positivity and hope and niceness. She can feel some sadness and anger but her brain works fast on fixing that. Due to being born with special abilities (fandom dependent), she was kidnapped and experimented on.
She can kill extremely easily and has no particular hang-ups over doing it, so it's your muse who will decide if she's a mass murdered or just a friend who shouldn't explode people.
She has no memories of her past before the experiments, only knows her real name.
if magic/powers exist, she has the 'kill-all' button and can murder all enemies within 30 feet with a wave of her hand. It does take a few seconds to recharge, so if there is a horde of enemies it will be mostly the first lines that will go down, so she needs backup. Her main power is to make people's blood explode, effectively murdering large groups of enemies this way (closest thing to what she does in Dragon Age, which is straight up sending their spirits into the fade).
She also has a few elemental spells (fire, lightning, ice) which are weaker but need no recharging. Cannot cure others but will regenerate. Likes to use lightning because 'pretty'.
your fandom has no natural magic but experiments on people happen? her mutation for now lets her regenerate so she's basically unkillable which in itself can make her a killing-machine/monster, because if she wants you dead, she just has to keep getting up and coming closer.
unclear what she was before being experimented on.
she has no particular goal, she's just here to have a good time and maybe help. If there is a Big Bad in this world that she could defeat, the reason she hasn't is that she thinks it should take everybody cooperating to do so AND that her kill-all ability has a recharge time, so she needs someone watching her back.
