Wanted interactions: family members, their spouses, Cressida and the few "non-family member" muses I already write with, because it turns out my interest only lays there and she already has my oc John to ship her with.
Potential romantic interactions: her future husband in this blog is my John (the footman).
fc: Claudia Jessie
Trigger warnings: nothing at the moment.
she's tvshow-centered, but with some influence from the books (though I don't remember the latter much)
note: her dialogue will not be accurate on account of the fact that I'm not English, I would never think of half of the words she uses.
-in threads with non-Cressida rpers, when she references Cressida she generally means mine (who is trying to be a better person) so that no Cressida has to feel godmodded. Season 3b will be not followed down to every detail, she will stay friends with Cressida until Cressida tries her last big scheme to avoid marriage, and probably be the one who talks her down from blackmailing Pen (and then Pen comes out anyway) OR Cressida doesn't back down but Eloise pities her anyway.
-for someone who "doesn't care" about marriage, Eloise sure jumps into potential partnerships that may ruin her without a second thought, both in the show and the book. To me she's Anthony but without responsibilities and without freedom. I am very particular about my shippy needs with her, I will only accept a man who doesn't try to shut her up/challenge her to prove her she's wrong or too loud or that he can be in control too. I want someone who LIKES her.
-most important canon divergence going against her book and possibly the show and that I got very attached to, and everyone can be involved: my Eloise is going to fall in love with their canon Footman, John, who has always been helping her break rules anyway and whom I might add to my blog as some sort of 'NPC and person who finds Eloise to be the best person on the planet' (never to be forceshipped with other Eloises); Eloise will reject proposals like in her book while slowly growing closer to him, RUN OFF after the sixth one, briefly, because she's Anthony-levels of losing her mind over the fact that she knows she's in love, doesn't want to be, and because John is trying to be honorable and keep it platonic for her sake because he's low class and wants the best for her and she's terrified. She WILL for once go to her siblings and mother for help once the pain is too much.
And then they do marry and while that means society rejects them, her mother won't (unlike what happened to Kate's mother) and they'll be HAPPY, and she'll still be Eloise with a guy who thinks her rants are so right and the best thing ever.
-at the present, she hasn't told ANYONE in her family about Theo Sharpe yet. She had feelings for him, hopes, and was very hurt, despite the show not focusing on it. I will write her as properly heartbroken.
-other than that, she has inherited a MILD allergy to bees she doesn't know about. Enough to have rashes and for her to cough and have short wheezing breath. But since they know nothing of allergies, she will panic and appear on the verge of death/actually pass out from the lack of air and fear. She was stung once before and nothing happened (plus it generally would take more of one bee to let her have a reaction) so she has no idea.
-in the books she's the one who sees their father die and tells Anthony, so I think it's fair that my Eloise, while not having been the one next to him, is still horribly affected by his death, with nightmares and, most of the time (canonically) refusing to chime in when he's mentioned. She spent some day with his body without her family knowing, and the night her mother gave birth to Hyacinth she stayed outside listening to her screams, and it left a mark on her. She does tell Daphne she still dreams of it, right after expressing her fear about motherhood, so I'm not sure she doesn't want to be a mother as much as being scared.
-while I love Pen and in the show they sort of made up, I'll write Eloise as still feeling "unsafe" because she thinks she probably never knew the real Penelope and has a hard time getting over the heartbreak.
