Okey Dokey! [but 90% based on my headcanons and interpretations and 10% on canon, because I'm extrapolating who I think she is from 8 episodes and 50 new traumas]
Wanted interactions: Fallout characters set in the show and occasional, selectively, Fallout 3-4 characters (see my rules).
Open to ship with: with Maximus and chemistry based (I don't insta-ship with The Ghoul but I'll ship quick if it goes there). Right now I see her as straight.
fc: Ella Purnell
Trigger warnings: written gore, the general violence you find in Fallout, Lucy is also very open about sexuality (as in discussing 'what's your sperm count' or asking Maximus if he wanted to have sex). Regardless of me usually skipping nsfw it's still part of her personality. Canon incest with cousins will be tagged as incest mention tw and I wil not be WRITING it, she just references it as part of her past. Potential 'gore tw' if I really get graphic.
I'll be writing my interpretation of Lucy as a Fallout good-hero character: heartbroken after the finale, shocked, a bit more disillusioned and disgusted by Vault Tec, but she will inevitably go back to her happy go-getter attitude soon enough if prompted - she's not going to be killing people without a second thought unless she's in another 'being actively hurt/her loved ones are being hurt' situation. She's just 10% more surface-dweller (but then, she was always a bit too ready to bite fingers off and play with decapitated heads). Ready to repress all the bad stuff.
She has outbursts of anger and violence due to the fact that she's not comfortable with her negative emotions and bottles them up; once pushed to either fight or die, she will fight like a person who has just found out her father murdered her mother and her entire life was designed to make her basically 'breeding stock' for the people who destroyed the world.
She's looking for her father, this time to get more answers, as well as hoping to find Maximus again, but this time, given that she's not in a hurry to see Hank, she'll get dragged into all sorts of sidequests.
Keep in mind that my version of Lucy will always fall back into wanting to do the "right thing" even when it's dangerous, but like I said, she IS becoming more jaded/disgusted about the concept of 'Vaults' and how they are all about experimenting on people, and there are time when she'll doubt herself.
She knows she can't go back to that life and wants to get her brother out, but needs a plan to do that so that 31s won't attack them.
Still, Norm is number one priority so she'll have to come back and get him, but it's likely that her main purpose in threads besides catching her father is making the Wasteland better by helping one person at a time AND finding ways to fight Vault Tec.
Pre-war Lucy being a stupidly successful singer because with her actual personality (which people think is just her character, and she thinks that's funny), her looks (her eyes!), her voice and her cute costumes, she'd be a freaking idol, but because her dad is Vault Tec she was taught fighting, fencing, gymnastic and shooting anyway, to be ready for anything, and every now and then she is the type who goes "excuse me, what you are doing is mean/wrong" and gets into fights with criminals.
Started as a child who had to say 'holy moly' and 'heck' and kept it up as an adult because it's funny, she's used to it, and it bothers certain co-stars. Promotes Nuka Cherry (cola) and other non-alcoholic beverages, teens in particular go crazy about her when she sings hit-songs meant for them, but she has a whole section of songs dedicated to love and men and her being flirty but hard to get (so her audience is a bit... more widespread). She will play dumb and be super friendly with cancelled co-stars who dared to speak up against Vault Tec.
The Taylor Swift/Shanya Twain duality depending on what she's promoting vs her secretly trying to uncover what Vault Tec is doing because Moldaver got her curious by mentioning her mother's death.
Bombs may or may not be dropped eventually, in which case she'll meet Moldaver again, just in time for the woman to let Lucy join her and be put into cryo, but only after explaining to her that her father killed her mother because she had uncovered Vault Tec plans (bombs and experiments).
Lucy is a dweller of Vault 33 in what was once Los Angeles. She has spent her entire life underground, and knows nothing about the outside world except for what she has seen in books or been taught. Her father, Hank, is the overseer of Vault 33. She also has a brother named Norm and a cousin named Chet, who she dated for 10 years. While this casual intimate relationship between cousins in permitted in the community, marriage is not. Lucy's best friend is Steph Harper.
Lucy actively contributes to the well-being of her community. She participates in the Young Pipefitter's Association, gymnastics club, Fencing Team C, intermediate Phys. Ed., and riflery. Her primary passion is teaching American history with a focus on ethics. In her personal time she watches movies with her father, gardens with her father, and enjoys family book club with her father.
As the show progresses she finds herself adapting more to life on the surface but still fighting to keep her ideals, is clearly not as naive anymore by the time she finds a new vault, and is determined to rescue Hand by bringing Moldaver the scientist's head she needs. She finds out the truth there: her mother Rose turned into a Ghoul after her father had Shady Sands bombed, which he did because she initially ran away with their kids (and possibly had a relationship with Moldaver). She also learns that her father was an executive of Vault-Tec who got himself cryogenically frozen two hundred years before as part of the company's plan to have their people be in charge of the rest of the vault, and Vault-Tec was responsible for the bombs that ended their world.
