LDT670 

The LDT 670 of the M.S. in the Instructional Design and Technology program at the University of Maryland Global Campus run in the summer of 2023. This course covered:

• Assume the role of an instructional designer and apply learning design knowledge, skills, and dispositions to create and assess an authentic online learning program. 

• Complete the design, implementation, and analysis of a learning design project. 

• Develop a professional portfolio and present the project and reflective analysis online.

Core interdisciplinary competencies are communications, analysis, collaboration, learning design, technology & media, and project management. Discipline-specific competencies included highly targeted knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes. We engaged ourselves in project-based learning by working with SMEs for a client and produced weekly deliverables. These competencies are demonstrated in the consultancy project listed on the following pages.
