Welcome to my academic portfolio for the M.S. in the Instructional Design and Technology program at the University of Maryland Global Campus!
The LDT630 course run in the winter of 2023. I added pages weekly as the course progressed. This course covered the following:
Investigate advanced learning design concepts and apply data analytics to assess the impact of design and technology on learning.
Implement a systems thinking approach and digital tools to evaluate and support online learners and learning programs.
Explore the assessment of online learning and interactions, data analytic tools and techniques, ways to support user experiences, human/computer interface design, and data visualization.
Core interdisciplinary competencies are communication, critical thinking, analysis, and quantitative reasoning. Discipline-specific competencies include learning design, analytics, and technology and media proficiency. Those competencies are demonstrated in project-based learning with workplace-oriented scenarios. There are five projects with a couple of steps each. The deliverables are listed on each project's page.
