Warriors
Effectively the equivalent to that of our Super-Earth based soldier ants. The Warrior or "Termite" serve as the main backbone of the Terminid scourge, be they frontline grunts, milling about in settled nests or escorting Roaches across our worlds they are a blight that is to be dispatched nonetheless. Despite their size and seeming strength, their carapaces are not particularly sturdy when standing up to gunfire, something we have proven for over 100 years as of now. Seemingly aware of this, they are practically never alone, instead hunting in roving packs and seemingly having a penchant for surrounding a foe completely and crushing them with pure weight of numbers and muscle, do not give them that chance.
Practically mindless in tactical doctrines, they will attempt to take the most direct route towards whatever being they deem a foe. A smart diver can use this to their advantage in corralling them into pre-set killzones.
Destroying their head, while logical, also appears to but them into a berserk state, violently attempting to bring down their attacker to their own grave. Fortunately they do not last long in this state and will eventually bleed out.
Bile Warriors
A curious beast on its own right, the Ministry of Science is torn on whenether this is a form of invasive pathogen or a natural symbiotic relationship of Terminid spores. Every inch of the Bile Warrior's (or "Burster") outer layers are covered in large, fragile green blisters filled to the brim with volatile bile that explodes when ruptured, meaning a close encounter can result in both serious caustic burns from the resulting explosion, as well as severe lacerations by chitin shrapnel. The Ministry of Defense heartily advises to take them out from a safe distance Â
Much like their smaller, unrelated cousins that are Bile Spitters, they are by no means immune to their own caustic bile, Rupture them within close proximity to return the favour
Much like their non-infected counterparts, they are capable of entering a suicidal berserker state upon the destruction of their head. Dispatching them at range is paramount as they effectively become suicide bombers
