Scavengers
Serving as the absolute bottom of the Terminid food chain, the aptly nicknamed "Roach" truly lives up to its title, barely out of the larval stage and yet already filled with a primal desire to feed ravenously. They're small enough to mostly be taken out with a single good stomp, or a well-placed bullet, but don't let that fool you, their teeth and claws remain razor-sharp, and are fully capable of picking apart flesh and muscle. They are also generally quite cowardly in nature upon encountering an agent of Liberty, as it emits a piercing scream that attracts nearby bugs in a reflexive attempt to destroy Freedom.
Perhaps aware of their own weaknesses, they make up for this by the fact of their sheer numbers, often in swarms of 8 or more. The Ministry of Defense recommends a weapon with a high rate of fire, or a well-placed explosive to dispatch them.
Being aware of their cowardice no doubt, they are amongst the first of the Terminids to release spore pheromones, when the chance presents itself. Dispatch them quickly or prepare for a bigger fight.

Pouncers
An intermediary stage between the Scavenger and the later Hunter, the Pouncer or "Skulker" serve as the next step in the Terminid life cycle. Here they grow their wings and stronger leg muscles, though they still retain their ravenous hunger. Now capable of pouncing, they use this ability to attempt to close the gap between themselves and the Democratic foe they wish to tear, claw, and rip flesh and armour apart with their razor-sharp claws and teeth. They may be small and clumsy, but don't underestimate these nasty buggers.
Much like their progenitor Roaches, the Pouncer makes up for their weaknesses through sheer numbers, albeit now capable of closing the distance rapidly. The same tactics to dispatch them apply here nonetheless.
While capable of indeed leaping great distances, they are by no means great at it, often over or undershooting their leaps. Use this to your advantage.
Bile Spitters
Yet another sub-stage of the loathesome Roach. The Ministry of Science is unsure on if the so-called "Blot" is a reactionary evolution, or a side-effect to the unavoidable spills of toxic chemicals within the E-710 farms, but everyone agrees this is generally bad enough. Biologically, they are quite distinct from other Terminid sub-strains. Their mandibles have evolved into an almost crossbow-like mechanism, allowing it to pelt their victims with a highly corrosive, foul-smelling concoction of stomach acids, and digested toxic waste. Furthermore...I would think twice before giving them a good stomp. They have a nasty tendency to completely rupture, coating everything in a 3 metre radius in vile sludge that eats into both boot and armour.
Once more, they generally make up for their diminutive size and strength with sheer numbers. The Ministry of Defense and I personally suggest you keep on the move when fighting these vermin.
However, they are not immune to their own stomach contents. One can take advantage of this by potentially causing one to rupture within close proximity of others, giving them a taste of their own foul medicine.
