Hunters
Serving as seemingly a final sub-stage of one of the many strains rooting from the Scavenger. The Hunter (or "Buggers" as I have coined them) lives up to its name as a formidable predator capable of intelligently and efficiently hunting down their prey. So far as we are concerned the Buggers are a clear step up from their smaller stages, being notorious for being particularly difficult to pin down and actually dispatch, darting and leaping frequently in response to gunfire and most unnervingly, are smart enough to attempt to hunt, flank and ambush their prey. High Command and I Myself cannot urge you enough to not underestimate them, many Divers have already paid the price and many operations have been scrubbed for doing so.
Intelligent enough to attempt to flank their prey and use cover to their advantage, keep your head on a swivel during combat at all times, you'll never know when they strike
Reports have returned on higher-risk operations have stated that a Hunter's stylets (or tongues) are laced with a highly corrosive substance which has been reported as "extremely painful" and "inhibitive to movement"
Much like most smaller creatures, they are capable of releasing pheromones to attract to encourage Bug Breaches, dispatch quickly and efficiently.
