When the Illuminate Vanguard first returned upon our world of Calypso, they first preyed upon the those who failed to flee the colonies, abducting them in droves and destroying them mentally and physically into nothing more than mere shells, only useful as hard labour and cannon fodder. These are the Voteless, the 'Husks", the unfortunates. Easily identified by their incessant groaning and shambling gait, what they lack in power and survivability they make up for in endless numbers corralled into battle by their Overseers. Despite the varying levels of mutations amongst them determining how much punishment they can truly take, their modus operandi is all the same, drowning out the foe with unending hordes, many a Diver has paid the price for underestimating the strength of them and the Overseers that shepherd them into battle, do not make the same mistake.

• Practically inured to pain and made relentless as a result of their mutations, the Husks can take a shockingly large amount of gunfire if hit anywhere but the head, whereas a single shot is more than sufficient 

• Reports have returned that some Divers have attempted to reason or convince them of their wrongs, The Ministry of Truth advises that their minds have been destroyed beyond the capacity for reason. Your only form of mercy is to put them out of their misery, any attempt to do otherwise will be met with harsh sanctions according to them.
