Waste Collection Drive - Edition V - Feb 2022

Do numbers matter? YES, especially when it comes to Waste Management, we would say!

ROKA finished it’s 5th mammoth 3-day Waste collection drive on February 13, amassing:

• E WASTE -5.61 METRIC TONNES

• CLOTHES -7.5 METRIC TONNES

• FOOTWEAR/MATTRESSES-2 METRIC TONNES

Our friends from other communities/areas also joined in our efforts and together, we were successful in diverting a mammoth 15 tonnes of waste from landfills.

☘️Chandra, Meenakshi Ramesh & Subhashini meticulously packed and sent off 3 loads of materials as and when the volume got higher!

What a team to work with! ROKA looks forward to many such initiatives together keeping our only motive / agenda - OUR BIT TO OUR ENVIRONMENT!
