Tree Planting Drive

It's monsoon time and how can ROKA not use an opportunity to protect the environment!

GCC had a project to mass plant saplings 'Pasumai Chennai'. A lot or RWAs made a pact to work alongside which is a sure-shot model for a project to succeed!

ROKA put out the good intention to plant saplings and was immediately approached by interested donors. We then procured 50 saplings (in two phases, 28 saplings first and 22 later) and had them planted at places in Adyar. A couple were planted near the Ambika appalam depot and the majority near the KB Nagar MRTS stretch closer to the Canal Bank Road.

Children and adults happily took part in both phases of the tree planting and we all slept happy that we have made an attempt to connecting to nature.

So do these trees have a name board that says planted by ROKA? Why would they? The clean air and the shade provided by these trees are testimony for ROKA's authenticity and genuinity.
