Our Vision and Mission

•Solid Waste Management has been ROKA’s primary mission. Residents are encouraged to segregate at source and do in-house composting. Some of our strategies involve active door to door campaigning, BOV walk with conservancy workers, circulating periodic infographics.

•Civic issues are taken up as per residents’ needs – abandoned vehicles cleared, request made for high mast lamp in deserted areas, milling/relaying roads, speed breakers sanctioned at accident prone areas, removing street bins (beautifying the area), wall painting, pumping out stagnant rain water during floods

•Environment issues like planting and maintaining trees, leaf composting, community composting in public spaces (well ring models), storm water drain construction overseen, rain water harvesting

Conducting events to propagate source segregation. Conducting periodic drives to collect old clothes/footwear, mattresses, ewaste.
