At the Ubicomp Health and Wellness Lab our goal is to design technology to improve health and wellness outcomes. We address major challenges in health management, including patient engagement, continuity of care and point-of-care interaction. We do this by leveraging gold standards of care to design, build, and deploy ecological computational systems.
We have a vibrant research lab and are always looking for undergraduate and Masters students to join us (for research credit)! Only students with publications in HCI (or closely related area) journals or conferences are considered for PhD advising. Please send Dr. Arriaga (arriaga(at)gatech.edu) your resume and a pdf of your published work. If you are not first or second author on this work, also send her a copy of a paper you wrote by yourself.
