Design Space
The project description is a statement about your initial guess as to the aspect of the design space, associated with the class theme, that you hope to address (People/Places/Activities). This should be no more than a paragraph. This statement will be refined during the term with each iterative submission (Part 1-4). It should include:
Who are the proposed users
The goal that the user may want to achieve
3 tasks users perform given the goal that was chosen;
Where the users might achieves their goal
You will receive feedback as to whether the scope is about right or should be expanded or contracted.
Teams should adopt a name that they will use throughout the semester. By Part 1 the team should also have a project name that is related to the problem space that their design addresses.
