Game Art File Deliverables

Template for Starting the Card Art

  • (that file is a PDF that you would have to put your own character name on and make a whig if yours is a whig)
  • Many of the cards have already been started and you would just pick up the original artists' psd file from the google drive and rename it with your initials and put it in a folder with your name on it. (keep their psd file separate please)

Starting your Card Art

Your card is printed at 2.5" x 3.5" - but we need it larger for marketing images.

  • Your card will be pixel dimensions should be 3025 x 4125
  • You can get a screenshot of your card from the home page card set for you to sketch over. (if there is not yours exactly - then use a different character/event from the same team/powderkeg or war and put the new title on it).

Make your card 3025 x 4125 pixels in Photoshop only - do not use clip studio after the drawing phase. All brushes we share only work in PSD.

Spring 2020 Goals:

Finish Remaining Card Art:

    • Testing of people reading it
    • redo of any copy and writing as needed
    • make everything larger
    • Shorten intro animation credits

Game Testing

    • Redo of any rules as needed
    • Work with the Museum School and with KCAD students

Marketing

    • Upload to Game Crafter
    • Review Box Design for redos
    • Write Marketing Copy
    • Marketing Images/Youtube/giffs for social media

Rebalance the event cards to the EPIC character cards:

  • The problem is that the event card's effects match up to Epic character cards in an unbalanced way and some don't match up to any Epic character cards at all (ie: some events have effects for Slavers and there are no EPIC slavers, there are more Revolutionaries than any other card, etc.)
  • A spread sheet study is required to sort this out.
