Item Art Style Guide:

Scaling:

The main item should be the focal point of the image. Other objects can appear in the frame and interacting with the main item but you should avoid having them taking the spotlight away. Having props to support the main item helps provide context to the item and helps the player make connections to it's historical significance during the Revolutionary War.

Lack of Props

Composition is dull because it is straight and symmetrical

To many Props

Ink is to small on screen

Good Balance

Ink is in the forefront and there is a dutch tilt which is required for all cards.

The background of this sewing needle card primarily uses red, white, and blue. The colors of the american flag. It provides context for how this item was used during this time period. The background is blurred and the sewing needle is in the forefront clashing with the red and given more detail to push it forward. There is a dutch tilt or it is implied by a diagonal.

In the final card there is a bling.

Blue light is on one side and red light on the other side: implying Tory with red (red coats) and blue light for the Whigs - as were their uniform.
