ARTIST STATEMENT:

This is my first time ever using materials with intention of people touching. I tried to make it feel like a smooth, silky feeling with 3D dimensions. The audience will be able to distinguish the roughness of the canvas versus the smoothness of the color blue and pink. Even with the two colors the audience will be able to feel the two because they overlap each other. Also, the paint it pretty shiny depending on the lighting so some of the reVISION audience may be able to see the shine of the paint.
