Gregory Thompson "Fractured"

ARTIST STATEMENT:

“Glass is a medium in which one may express their vision and concept of feelings, situations, or relationships with both the animate and inanimate worlds,” states GRT Glass Design founder, Greg Thompson. His artistic work spans more than 30 years and encompasses both the strictly functional and prosaic to the abstract and highly conceptual drawing the viewer into the piece and inviting their interpretation of the expressed intent.

Greg attended The Ohio State University majoring in architecture and has successfully operated both a hot shop (for blown glass artwork) and a manufacturing operation for over 30 years. More information may be found at the website, www.grtglassdesign.com.
