A rabbit's hearing is their most vital sense. Their ears are usually large, which enables them to pick up sounds from very far away, sometimes as far as a mile! Rabbit ears also can rotate and swivel, and they can move one ear at a time if needed. A rabbit uses hearing to detect predators, and to get information about the area around them. When a rabbit is happy or relaxed their ears lie along their backs, but can be alerted by the smallest sound. Rabbits also make purring noises when they are content.
Whenever I am going somewhere and I see a bunny along the way, I end up having some good luck on my journey. For that reason, rabbits have become a lucky omen in my world. This Lucky Bunny is made from repurposed fabric, giving new life to items that might just have been thrown away. Give him a squeeze, and he will make happy rabbit sounds.
