I have always been drawn to nature and art, even when I was very young. I grew up in the country surrounded by nature. I would spend countless hours outdoors exploring, listening, watching and experiencing the natural world around me. This connection has as always been a part of the different forms of art that I create. I went to Ball State University and received a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Metalsmithing and Native American studies. I am a Teaching Artist for Newfield’s Indianapolis Museum of Art and Arts for Learning of Indiana. I have also worked as a Goldsmith and a jewelry designer for F.B. Fogg handmade paper studio. I work in a wide variety of mediums, from metal embossing, pottery, weaving, printmaking, painting, drawing, to traditional art forms like beadwork, quillwork, ribbonwork and birchbark.
