"Shigaraki & Shinso Pillows"

ARTIST STATEMENT:

I found two pillow forms to make unique FanArt. The characters on the pillows are from a popular anime and manga series called My Hero Academia/Boku No Hero Academia. The anime takes place around 100 years in the future in a world where superpowers, or what they call ‘Quirks’ exist. That being said, heroes and villains are a thing. Shigaraki, one of the characters on the pillow is the main villain. Shinso, the second character, is a student in a hero school called UA High.

The hardest part was the needle felting but I never stabbed myself. I didn’t get burnt with the hot glue this year. I am proud of the details I made with the felt. Nikki is a junior at the Indiana School for the Blind & Visually Impaired and enjoys Manga, Anime, Drawing and most every other art form.
