Reflection
When I was a Career Coach, I was able to learn more about the education systems and how they impact learners. As a Career Coach, I talked to each student about education and what they would like to do when they graduate, specifically empowering students about their decisions. The students are the creators in their learning and each student learns differently. Colleges should continue to engage students in the decision-making process. One of the things I was taught at Concordia College was to put the power back into the student. This allows students to decide what their path will look like. Additionally, I would also give resources to the students to get involved in the community.
