Title : Photoinduced electronic properties of low dimensional systems
Abstract :
In this talk I would discuss recent proposals to engineer the electronic and optical properties of graphene and other honeycomb materials with focus on their optical response to monochromatic electromagnetic radiation. We also discuss recent proposals to realize photo protected edge states in one-dimensional chiral systems.
