Title: Introduction to quantum CPTP maps and quantum (non) Markovianity
Abstract:
In this talk, we introduce the basic concepts of quantum operations or CPTP maps and show how this tool allows us to describe open quantum systems. In addition, its connection with Markovian and non-Markovian quantum processes is specified. Several simple examples are presented, as well as some applications to clarify the ideas.
