There are some verbs that are followed by '-ing':
Admit: She admitted stealing the money.
Advise: She advised waiting until tomorrow.
Anticipate: I anticipate having a good time on holiday.
Appreciate: I appreaciated hearing from them.
Avoid: You should avoid walking home late.
Bear: I can't bear working these long hours.
Begin: It began raining.
Can't help: Her mom can't help overprotecting her.
Carry on: I will carry on living in Ireland until 2023.
Completed: I finally completed writing my paper.
Consider: Have you considered living in Italy?
Continue: He continued speaking.
Delay: I won't delay studying for the exam.
Deny: The criminal denied killing the woman.
Discuss: They discussed openining a new business.
Enjoy: I enjoy travelling abroad.
Finish: Have you finished cleaning the toilet?
Forget: I will never forget visiting New York.
Give up: I want to give up smoking.
Hate: She hates making silly mistakes.
Imagine: Can you imaging winning the lottery?
Keep: Keep working that hard.
Like / Dislike: I like / dislike driving long distances.
Love: I love going to the opera.
Mention: I mentioned going to the cinema.
Mind: I don't mind doing extra hours.
Miss: I miss spending more time with my friends.
Postpone: Do not postpone doing your homework.
Recommend: I recommend learning English abroad.
Risk: We cannot risk going home late.
Spend time: You should spend more time reading.
Suggest: They suggested going to a restaurant.
Tolerate: I cannot tolerate hearing what he is saying.
