About me......and my motivation!!!
I’m currently a junior major in English literature at Soochow University. The world is now changing rapidly, in order to catch on the trend of AI, I am taking this course to improve my implication skills on the latest technology and to extend my horizons. Especially for students in the English department like me, cross-field learning is very helpful for future careers and we have a better understanding of future trends. This webpage demonstrates what I have done and learned in AI application in this course.

Throughout this course, I aim to understand how AI functions across various fields and how description of the prompt is important for the out come we want. For example, AI enables us to create a music video even without prior experience, correct our wording in descirption, and generate stunning images for a digital storytelling book.

This course apply many AI tools, such as Chatgpt to extend or deepen the story connection, and match the character's expressions and movements to make the Kebbi robot more vivid. Use ElevenLabs to generate suitable voices based on the storyline and character image. In addition, digital stories use Pika to generate pictures, and then use capcut to add subtitles, transitions, and matching effects to edit them into videos.

During the process of creating story that suits children’s need and connecting SDGs goals, I try to elaborate my own childhood story and make a little changes in detail to suit the need. Meanwhile, matching robot’s movement with imagination also spend me a lot of time. Music video creation is another challenge when it comes to the image that has to be associate wtih the lyrics. Thankfully, Pika is a very helpful tool to consult when I am lack of inspiration.

Overall, I think I really gain a lot from this course. It lead me to various AI platform and projects like making a story book or Kebbi robot gave me the opportunity to integrate the operation of many applications. I really feel a great sense of accomplishment after completing each mission in class. What struck me most deeply in this class was the importance of giving clear instructions accurately. Despite AI is the trend of the future, humans can still distinguish its value through innovation. AI is indeed very helpful in many ways, but there is still room to improve. Make good use of AI in work but don’t depend on it too much

Through various weather conditions and a sick season where the protagonist stays healthy, they realize the importance of daily exercise. The story concludes with a lesson about perseverance and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. This story connected to SDGs 11.

How I feel about using Suno AI:
Most of the music produced has pretty good melodies. As long as I input the concept I want to express, the lyrics produced will meet my needs. It is of great help to beginners who have no concept of making music. I was surprised that the generated lyrics rhymed, and I also learned some words. For example, discreet and deplete.
