A recap of the tiki pool party to come.
Our Annual General Meeting was held on the evening of Wednesday 21st September. Attendance was in person and via Zoom for those out-of-town.
All positions for 2023 were filled. Congratulations to all the incoming committee members. They are as follows:
President - Amanda Oborne
Treasurer - Jillian McCabe
Secretary - Jessica Buckley
Taylor Barracks Rep - Leah Condon and Meaghan Ustariz
1 Sqn Rep - Dan Thompson
2 Sqn Rep - Brittany Green
A big thank you to Meret Southwood and Rebecca O'Sullivan for their work as President and Secretary respectively in 2022. They will continue in their roles until handover later this year.
The night was concluded with a special treat for those in attendance, a rather decadent dessert platter from Sweet But Psycho. Everyone got to sample all the different desserts, and it was extremely hard to choose a favourite!
An enjoyable afternoon and evening was had by all at our Dad's Day Edition of Stairway to the Moon at Hearson's Cove.
Walks on the mudflats, followed by sandcastle building, stubby holder decorating and a sausage sizzle, rounded out a laidback afternoon before a spectacular moon rise.
Local and out-of-town PRFG ladies got together the evening before the Regimental Dinner, for a night of pampering. Participants enjoyed a facial and either a mani or pedi, while relaxing with friends, old and new.
Our ladies' Paint Pouring Party, with pouring kits provided by DMFS, was an intimate and enjoyable affair, with some beautiful artwork created.
The PRFG part-funded the Mess social committee's 80s and 90s party at the Mintu Wanta Mess.
A lovely afternoon of sipping and grazing as we brought out the artiste within!
2 April 2022
A fun day of competition, socialising and faceplanting.
The Pilbara Regiment Family Group hosted a get together at Hearson's Cove for Staircase to the Moon. Although the moon rise was obscured by clouds, it was still an enjoyable evening.
