Moving to the Pilbara can sometimes bring its challenges when you need to go shopping. Many people will choose online options, but this is not always feasible. When you do shop online, ensure you leave ample time for postage (around 2 weeks is a reasonable estimate, depending on where your item is coming from).
In Karratha, we have a reasonable range of options to cover most of your needs, however, be aware they may not always have your preferences in stock. If you are looking for a particular business or retailer, check out the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KDCCI). They provide their Business Directory online.

Three Birds Creative is a local boutique and art studio. Local artist, Jess, has an incredible range of wearable and functional art - fishing shirts, sarongs and hooded towels, picnic tables, hampers and coasters to name a few; and provides inspirational art classes to suit children and adults.
The PRFG enjoyed a Paint n Sip with Jess in 2023 and we looked forward to our next one in July 2024. Jess has also graciously donated an adult's hooded towel (valued at $85) to our door prize for our 2024 Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea.
The waste facility at 7 Mile in Gap Ridge offers a tip shop that is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 4pm. This is a great place to pick up cheap lawn mowers, whipper snippers, bikes, furniture etc.
For more information check out their website: 7 Mile Waste Facility | City of Karratha
They occasionally post information on the City of Karratha Facebook page as well, especially when they have a lot of surplus stock!
