PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
This chapter will shortly present how the Ministerial Department of Philippine Union will measure the performance of the Bible Worker and Minister.
Let’s define!
Appraisal and assessment – how the worker perform his work in the areas, means to be used for
A. Objectives:
1. To assess the personal performance of the Bible Worker and Minister to determine the strength and weakness.
2. To support, plan and improve the performance of the Bible Worker and Minister.
To check and balance the performance of the Bible Worker and Minister with regards to the promotion which will the basis for compensation and rate adjustment in the next chapter.
4. To assess the area performance by determining the effectiveness of the activities of the Bible Worker and Minister.
5. The performance will be done yearly
B. Aspect of Evaluation
1. Personal Appraisal (Assessment):
What are his personal achievements? What are his personal initiated programs? Do they reflect his overall one year plan? How does he deal with the members in the field? Did he accomplish his one year plan?
This aspect, the National Office will provide an evaluation form to be filled up by the Bible Workers themselves and/or Minister.
2. Code of Conduct:
This reflects the individual attitude, character and personality of the Bible Workers/Minister in the field and in the association as a whole.
3. Financial Aspect:
As a Bible Worker/Minister, they are expected to plan and manage their own budget given by the association to forward God’s work in the Field. All expenses should be listed and accounted for as an aspect subject for evaluation, so that the association can protect its sanctity in disbursing God’s money not for personal gain but for God’s glory.
4. Attainments in the field:
a. field activities (church visitations and other programs – health lectures, youth involvement, children’s activities, outdoor activities (family, care groups, etc)
b. new studying members.
C. Tools of Evaluation
1. Missionary Report – a report according to his action plan in his territorial assignment.
2. Financial Report – base on his financial approximation of his financial expenditures in the field.
3. Recommendation Report – a report from the local area where a Bible Worker is assigned.
a. The National Office will provide an Evaluation Form to be filled up by those Card Holder members.
b. The Branch Chairman will also participate in the evaluation of the Bible Worker assigned in the area by reporting the missionary activities in the field.
4. Ministerial Department Evaluation
a. Interview with the local members and leader.
b. Written Form
