Men are more important than methods, more essential than plans and policies. The success of any organization or project is more dependent upon the human factor than upon the budget factor or any other factor. With the right kind of WORKERS in the association a field will grow and develop despite obstacles and problems.
God called His servants in the 11th-hour call (Mat. 20) and He wanted them to sigh and cry in the church first to sound the first trumpet (Joel 2:1) in gathering the 144,000 through the SRod message. Now anyone may respond to this call and be His Bible Worker and Minister. Let’s have a look at ourselves before we plunge into the field of duty.
A spiritual man makes Jesus is pattern. From the Saviour, he has learned the power of kindness and the power of understanding. Like His Master, the spiritual man approaches all of his problems in a spirit of love and Christlikeness.
Vision separates the men who do from those who do not. Vision is divine discontent. It is holy thing God plants deep in the heart of man that keeps him from becoming satisfied with achievements of the past.
God’s servants should search the scriptures to understand God’s will for them. They spent more time in prayer seeking for truth. When we are too busy to study, the fact is soon reflected in our preaching and in our life.
Like his great Examplar, is a humble man. He thinks only of others, willing for their sake to be made of no reputation.. The only superior among you is the one who serves the others. Christ one day told the multitudes.
Let every man be quick to listen but slow to use his tongue, and slow to lose his temper. James 1:19. Losing one’s temper and saying what one feels like saying under strain is a luxury no Christian worker can ever afford.
“Be kind to one another, be understanding” Eph. 4:32. “Have a reputation for gentleness, and never forget the nearness of year Lord” Phil. 4:5. Only Christ in the heart makes a servant of God kind and understanding.
Too much ease and avoiding responsibility have made weaklings and dwarfs of those who ought to be responsible men of moral power and strong spiritual muscle. Accept year responsibility, get your bearings, and move forward with singleness of purpose.
“Men of stamina are wanted, men who will not wait to have their way smoothed and every obstacle removed, men who will inspire with fresh zeal the flagging efforts of dispirited workers, men whose hearts are warm with Christian love and whose hands are strong to do their Master’s work.”
Our only safety lies in staying off Satan’s enchanted ground.
Any man who is disloyal to the following leaders and workers is unworthy of the position of trust which he holds. May God make us loyal God’s servants loyal to our God and loyal to our brethren!
