Registration and Academic Calendar

A new semester is around the corner! 

So it is the perfect time to review registration and the academic calendars. 

BYU-I & PathwayConnect Registration 

For more information on how a student can register, please see the OD-DP Degree Planner Rules Article 

If a student is unable to register and has met all of the required prerequisites, please refer to ADV - Escalating to the Degree Planner Team for the procedure on submitting a Course Authorization.

If a student would like to complete a 4th certificate through elective courses (This is ONLY for students who are on the 2019-2023 catalog years), please refer to the ticket process in ADV - Escalating to the Degree Planner Team.

Ensign Registration 

Ensign College students will register in their Student Portal. 

When the registration period is open, students will see a “Register Now” button on the homepage in their Student Portal. They will need to click this button to register.  

Each registration request that is submitted is manually reviewed by a Registration Agent. Following this review, students could be registered for courses that differ from their request. 

If a student is unable to register due to technical difficulties, please contact your Team Lead for further instructions. Do NOT send these issues to the DP Team. 

If a student would like to increase their workload, they will need to complete the registration process in their Student Portal to update the number of credits they would like to take. This can only be done during the open registration period.  

 
There may be a limited amount of course options each semester available to Ensign College online students.
  

If a student is not able to take the course workload they desire due to this, they should consider enrolling in a religion course at their local institute for BYU credit. 

The courses students see might not reflect transfer credit equivalencies. Advise students to submit their request for manual review by the Registration Team.
