What is English Connect?

• EnglishConnect helps learners develop basic English conversation skills in an environment of fellowship and faith ​

• EnglishConnect 1 & 2 help beginning-level learners prepare for EnglishConnect 3  

EnglishConnect 3  

This course is for learners with intermediate-low to intermediate-high levels of English proficiency and helps students:​

• Develop academic and employment listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills​

• Prepare for PathwayConnect​

• Continues to build on conversational skills while also focusing on reading and writing skills in preparation for academic coursework​

EC3 has opened in almost every country now, so we will start getting a significant amount of questions about it. Go through the EC articles so we will be able to help these students!​

EnglishConnect 3 is approved in​

 95 countries!

Admission Requirements ​ 

• Must be 11 years old or older and all minors must submit a parental consent form​

• Be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or have a close tie to the church​

• Be literate in their native language​

• Have access to the internet and a laptop ​

• Receive -2 or higher on the English Language Assessment (for EC 3 only)​

Technical Issues  

• Students can click on the “Report a Problem” button at the bottom of the page in their PATH account and submit a suggestion for improvement​

• Students can contact his/her missionaries about any of their course issues ​

REMEMBER !!!

• EC1&EC2 are free

• EC3 cost varies by country (the highest price is $30 in the US)

• Classes are not certified courses and do not award university credits
