Butfartman (2014)
The original Butfartman.
Butfartman first joined the P4A during the 2014 livestream. Destin was exploring Australian money with a microscope and discovered “BUT FAR T” as part of a poem on the 10 dollar note. Meanwhile, Destin had sent Hank two jerseys and Hank decided to wear one normally and the other on his legs, thus creating Butfartman. A full exploration of Butfartman Lore can be found here.
During the 2015 P4A, Butfartman visited for a while trying to raise funds.
At NerdCon: Nerdfighteria in 2017, a Butfartman meetup was held. Many Nerdfighters created their interpretations of Butfartman and became a parade through part of the convention center.

Butfatman visits
2022: Butfartman joined the P4A late on the second night. He appeared while Brennan Lee Mulligan and Patrick Rothfuss were hosting. Brennan was enthralled with Butfartman’s dance.
2023: Butfartman did not visit during the stream, but was seen in Hank's video before the livestream began.
