With the easily accessible Internet apps, there is an increased risk towards the safety of young people, whilst they are online. It can be very scary for parents and guardians who may be unaware of what's happening.
This booklet was created by a group of Social Care Students as part of their Working with Communities project last year. It is a helpful resource which raises awareness around the importance of online safety.
This booklet contains:
Identifying cyberbullying, how to avoid it and what to do if your young person encounters it
Data Privacy and the steps to take in protecting your online data
How instagram and pop culture can affect our mental health
Self evaluation tests and tips to stay safe online
