Time Rules:
Use lowercase am or pm without periods.
Do not include a gap between the time and am or pm. (example: 10:30pm)
For even hours the minutes can be left off. (example: 9am)
Spans of time should be represented like this: 9am to 12pm or 9:30am to 12:45pm.
Rules for Dates and Periods of Time:
Write dates in this format: Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
You may choose to omit the day of the week when writing dates.
You may omit the year when writing dates if the content you are writing is going to expire before the end of the current year.
If necessary, for example in tables, use the numeric version in this format - 4/27/21.
Do not use the ‘th’ format e.g. April 27th.
When referring to decades use the following form: the 1990s (no apostrophe).
When referring to centuries use ‘th’ as opposed to spelling in full. (example: 19th Century)
