When writing addresses and phone numbers:
Spell out Avenue, Boulevard, and Street when used in an address.
When used alone with more than one street name, use lowercase. (Example: Clark and State streets run north and south.)
Abbreviate directional parts of a street in a numbered address. (Example: You can find them at 400 S. State Street.)
If there is no street number, spell out the directional (Example: You can find them on South State Street.)
Use the following format for phone numbers, and always include area codes: (510) 238-1212.
