The Fastener Forming Load Monitoring Module includes forming dies, cylindrical piezoelectric sensors, and fixtures for inserting the load sensors. Utilizing a standard installation process, the piezoelectric sensors are installed and calibrated within the fixtures, allowing the conversion of the piezoelectric voltage during forming into digital forming loads. The load during fastener forming is a critical indicator of the forming quality of fasteners. The digital forming load is useful for identifying the product forming defects and monitoring the die conditions, such as discrepancies in billet length, punch wear, or die failure.
