Between December 21st and January 20th, the Sun star transits Capricorn, an Earth sign that, inside of the animals' circle, is related to the goat. Ruled by Saturn, the planet of time and maturation, the sign leads to the greatest material achievements. In this sense, it sets the ending point for any development, with the ruler announcing a new karmic beginning.
In tune with the sign, I Ching mentions the current annual moment in two specific hexagrams. They start the sequence of all observable phenomena: Kun The Receptive (2) and Chien The Creative (1). The composing energies can be found in the nucleus of all beings and things: the hexagrams are the greatest expressions of yin-yang, the two structuring principles that are always mutually related and in alternating motion. That's why the seasonal comments included in this delivery relate Northern and Southern hemispheres of the globe to each other.
In the Egyptian Tarot, number 8 is the number of Capricorn, which is associated to Justice card. But when we compare decks, sometimes the 8th card is referred to differently (Strength), whereas card 11 remains associated to Justice or Persuasion. All of the variances suggest relating arcana to some specific subjects such as solidity, the use of force (including karma) and the transcendence or elevation from hard shapes.
In this delivery, three new articles are included. One of them belongs to Art & Mancies section, refers to the structuring principles, and explains how to find the hexagrams of an astral chart. Whereas the Articles section is dedicated to the relationships of comets and stellium (or great planetary conjunctions), since there'll be two great alignments in Capricorn and Aquarius on January. The first one will bring a karmic ending, and the second one a quite agitated and unstructured new beginning.
Finally, Capricorn is associated to three Norse runes. In the calendar, the first of them is Jera, the continuous sound during the passage from Sagittarius to Capricorn.

Capricorn is associated to Justice (8). Here are some guidelines to bring together the Aquarian (David Palladini), Egyptian (Kier Ed.) and Marseille decks.
With Justice card happens something similar to what happens with Strength card. David Palladini’s Aquarian deck calls arcane 8 as Strength, and arcane 11 as Justice. Whereas the Egyptian deck refers to the latter as Persuasion. So, when we get card 8, we’ll have to keep in mind other cards related to the reading's subject: The Wheel of Fortune (10), Strength/Justice/Persuasion (11), and The Star (17). And if we want to add Astrology to the reading, we may refer to several signs: Capricorn (8), Scorpio (10), Leo (11), and Libra (17).
When we compare arcana, each deck provides variances or variables to the inquired subject, since some cards point to specific perspectives and veil other ones (precisely because they're arcana). With Justice, the reading tells of balance, measurement, ponderation, equilibrium, equanimity, all obvious meanings coming from the names of the Egyptian and Marseille decks. Paying close attention, at least two elements stand out:
Isn’t it strange the way names are mixed? Quite right to tell what happens when all of the mentioned characteristics of the card are lost. If inverted, then density and authoritarianism emerge in the situation. It has to be remembered that the metal of spades is associated to the Air element, intellect, words and weapons. So with Justice, we firstly should meditate on what happens with the use of force (physical, verbal) in the inquired situation. As well as see what happens with free will and real chances in whatever luck brings (The Wheel of Fortune, a card that provides the necessary elements to make the experience flow). The path may lead to handle situations and display consensuated force without impositions (11, Strength/Justice/Persuasion), or straightly dismiss now any way and regulation, when there's nothing left to be shaped or regulated (The Star).

Northern and Southern Hemispheres
Natural cycle. In it, the expansion and contraction of beings and things always happen, at their own pace and time.
KUN The Receptive (2) for NH - CHIEN The Creative (1) for SH. Productive cycles towards earth and metal, respectively.
Yin and yang are in everything, all of the time, in any situation, in any I Ching hexagram. Kun and Chien represent forces that can be read in any other sign, even without mutations. And both hexagrams offer a paradox: they point to each other, are self-generated, but they also recommend not staying in them...
I Ching offers common metaphors based on nature's images, for example the Sun, Moon, Heaven, Earth... all pairs of opposites that recall opening moves and closing moves (and what expresses those moves), as well as what is expanded and what is contracted (and what produces those moves).
For reading Chien, we have to read Kun too, and vice-versa. They're opposite-complementary signs, which means that a characteristic or attribute is always understood inside of a relation, and that no attribute exists by its own. During this annual moment, Chien and Kun indicate we're at the beginning, or better said, before the beginning, in a time that is previous to all experiences, motivations and conditions usually experienced in daily life. The month of Solstices is a quite unspecific time, and if we're looking for distinctive elements to characterize it, it seems I Ching closes itself.
Rather than details, concrete recommendations, accurate indications or straight answers, it's a time when the hexagrams don't give an answer, don't point to, don't incline towards... And the same goes for the eventual interests and searching of the moment: Chien and Kun are much wider than what we could expect for in our daily life. Yin-yang are present in all we know and all we don't know, in any concrete or dreamt situation. In the same way, Chien and Kun are out of what is daily experienced, whether be abstact, dreamt, imagined or implemented.
As a natural image, the scenarios have no place yet: there's no Sun to be appreciated without the Moon, since nothing would raise. There's no Heaven to be appreciated without the Earth, since we would not be here. Whatever happens in each hemisphere, where each hexagram lives during this time, will start a global exchange of energy. The exchange will take place as specific mutations to be seen in each area of the globe. The mutations will display common places and scenarios within the areas. And the origin of mutations, as it always happens in yin-yang alternance, is internal-external.

The first seasonal change in the hemisphere will provide a shape and appearance to the way of thinking. The natural image is a mountain covering an inner flame. By covering it, it provides a bit more stable surface to a fire that could expand without containment or protection. The flame refers not only to thoughts but also to those resources waiting to be awakened and become generative forces. Anyway, the move will produce a contagious effect among people and in several areas, especially in the bases for social action. The forecast is not in tune with the annual cyclic moment, and indicates a lot of activity and presence in all dimensions. For the Northern Winter, the excess of light may harm the seeds, which need a warm heat for progressive raising.
SH Forecast. Other movements happen within the framework provided by Chien's natural cycle.
HSÜ Waiting (5). Complement KO Revolution (49)
The first seasonal changes in the hemisphere will bring silence and "escaping" moves, especially in common or shared areas, for example in public zones and among authorities. The forecast tells of a month for letting go rather than making decisions, whereas the outer world tries to adapt to the circumstances and chooses to flow for avoiding risks. Like in the Northern Hemisphere, the flame of thoughts will turn quite visible and active, and will be coordinated with the bases for social action. It's also quite probable that the calmness be altered: the order could be confronted, and the move will start "from below to above".

Vital Astrology is Astrology about motion in natal karma, in the development of elementals, and in the exercise of free will. Capricorn develops itself in one more turn of the spiral, incorporating Gemini and Scorpio.
Vital development
The goats are quite connected to utilities. Is it possible to find a practical and concrete functioning? Are things useful for something? What can they effectively do with them? Start from these considerations to deduce all of the activities and characteristics you may find whatever the context, for example: productivity in working environments, economic outcomes, organisational activities (even if it’s just about two people), and playing roles.
The goats seem to start things in a more consistent way than the rest of signs. And if it’s not the right or best time to do it, they wait for better moments before moving forwards. With no rush or mental speculations, they sometimes think that just time passing by makes things concrete. Waiting for the most convenient hour makes them give right shots and get what they look for. But when the circumstances are not what they expected, they wonder how it could happen... wasn't it all already made up and prepared for?
Free will
The psychic expression of the goats is one of the deepest in the Zodiac because it finally reaches and touches the more lasting ways. So, many times they reconsider affinities, attachments, projections, visions... Second looks on matters have nothing to do with hesitating or reacting to other people's influences, and happen very slowly, almost in an unnoticeable way. Without drastic turns, they may not be so focused on their relationships as before, and the environments they used to frequent in the past may not be so important as yesterday.
This is happening because their thoughts become laxer, like the methods or ways they were used to for getting what they wanted. Reconsidering the world within increases their bonding force, which reaches all around them too... thus expanding their influence!
Another quite strange characteristic of the goats is that it’s not always easy to see if they are moving away from their goals or just changing the means to achieve them!
Karma
When it’s about karma, people usually wonder about if it’s been finished or not, if cycles have already been closed or are just started... but the ways for ending or closing those cycles are rarely mentioned. The goats know how to dissolve situations but, also and even so, they’re persistent people and reproduce themselves. We may see them in those places we regularly see them even though time has already changed the landscape many times.
They cannot avoid themselves either and show no variances, keeping a well-definite constancy even after big (dis)enchantments and big (de)idealizations. But they’re not transparent people: in the external appearance, they usually look like as usual over time, although their psychic legacy and the current mental karma don't extend beyond the present circumstances..., so they can mostly count on a free pathway in their karmic projections.
To look out carefully...
They may mentally move away from people and situations before it becomes a fact or they communicate the decision to others, and they do it even when they are still emotionally involved! Because they’re quite aware of themselves and their relationships, they perceive what's going on before other people notice it, and make decisions without considering the effort it took building a relationship or the emotional cost of moving away. Anyway, they had already seen that those relationships and feelings would come to a karmic end.
Besides, they eventually don't know what they are doing with themselves or the others, and go inside of an emotional/economic circle of work, earnings and investments they reproduce blindly and effortessly. But as it happens with the mental distance mentioned before, there are no big troubles about all this (just unconsciousness).
Births during Capricorn 2025-26 season could be basically considered in two groups. Those born until January 11th will be mostly inclined to massive movements, collective idealisms, the invisible dimensions in any field, and oceanic feelings. Whereas those born between January 12th and 19th will need to find alternative ways to channel those inclinations. There's a specially karmic relation between both groups: in the mentioned subjects, their actions have been quite different. As a consequence, the first ones will count on an easy path, whereas the second ones will have to wait until their birth karma's cycle be finished, to be free from some energetic blockings. But a common chord for all of them will be a strong expression of the sign's main characteristics, especially by those born after January 10th: a sense of responsibility, organisational skills, harvest of results, and a lot of energy to make things concrete and set structures.
Northern HemisphereMoon's rising sign: Virgo. Ruler: Mercury.Beyond the type of thinking they express, they'll be quite related to the ideational and logical world. Highly skilled at finding practical ways and strategies, it's a karmic legacy they're going to receive nowadays. Over time, the panoramic view will become wider, from the closest or daily experiences to a broader appreciation of situations and people. Their opinions and understanding will be useful and accurate, without a doubt. But they'll also sense there's something beyond the path they have walked through: the games, all types of relationships and life diversity will make them relax the structures.
Southern HemisphereMoon's rising sign: Pisces. Ruler: Neptune.Keeping in mind the two karmic groups mentioned before, they'll see in each other different ways of thinking, ordering and functioning, especially if it's about influencing other people (inspiring, suggesting, psychic domination...?). Counting on a mutual reference, the intense Capricorn in their lives could become a great collective mass in the future, especially after the 28-29 birthdate, when the paths of both groups turn less rigid. Together, they'll arrive at the end of a common karmic path.index
Lunar months last approximately 29 days, and are very useful to consider short-term purposes. The beginning of the month is for setting tendencies, and the effects can be fully observed 15 days later. The rest of the month is for decreasing the initial tendency and freeing space for the new cycle to come. The Sun in Capricorn is visible in the sky under the influence of the New Moon in Sagittarius (see the newsletter previous delivery).FULL MOON. The satellite will shine in January 3rd, at 12º Cancer, with the Sun at 12º Capricorn. A special karmic phase, related to inspiring influences, ideals and dreams. A time for broadening deep perceptions. If meeting the chance of creating or nurturing an idea or project (in a wide sense), now it's not the right time (some ways could be imposed over other ones)..NEW MOON. The phase begins in January 18th, with the Sun-Moon conjunction at 28ª Capricorn. The luminaries will introduce a lunar monthly cycle that will mean a challenge for warrior spirits. For focusing on intentions, and also expecting for some aggressive actions that could annul them. A good time to take developments to a final phase, although preventing some adverse reactions too (concrete and material)..The descriptions for hemispheres are to transmute the monthly karma of the New Moon in Capricorn.
Northern HemisphereCapricorn will provide a great material awareness, specifically about the current ways and organization. The present month, such as it is displayed, will show the way to translate ideas and words into concrete actions, as well as the type of seeds expected to be raised in the future. Transmuting the monthly Moon implies analyzing the components of structures, in different dimensions of the experience. Rather than developing, it would be better to consider an impass, including purposes and the final causes. It's not always possible to split positive effects from negative ones. But Capricorn is a sign of transcendence, and during the month, free love, massive arts and social relationships could become the ways to go through the weeks the lunation lasts.
Southern HemisphereCapricorn is a cardinal sign, which means it's especially related to beginnings and endings: it ends developments, and sets a start after the endings. And, as an Earth sign, it turns practical and concrete. Sometimes, the sign also shows ambition to reach goals. There are several options to transmute the monthly Moon: consider the cost of keeping situations such as they are, avoid going against the own interests because of staying only focused on reaching results, consider taking some facilities at another time and, especially, don't remain fixated (in ideas, needs, or through actions).
Astrological I Ching
Kun and Chien are the hexagrams of the Moon and the Sun. Could they also turn to be a representation of an astral chart? The article links the two basic hexagrams to each other as a lunar development across the zodiacal signs, to finally compose the heavenly hexagrams of any astral chart. The runes were introduced to mankind as sounds coming from Odin's mouth. After a cycle of nine days and nine nights on Yggdrasil, the World Tree, Odin bequeathed to us the vibrations ultimately generated by blood roots, after they were transformed throughout their natural cycle. To symbolize it, the runes or "secret letters" were carved into woods, bones, leather, and stones.
Jera (Jara, from December 13 to 28) - Eihwaz (Yr, until 01.13) - Perthro (until 01.28)
Jera. [Phonetics: j/y]. It's translated as year and harvest. It's the only rune formed by two different characters. Like Winter and Summer, it's related to natural cycles considered as an ever forming present moment, turning in circles inside of the magics of the Earth. In that sense, the rune refers to karma and indicates renewal, rewards and success.
Eihwaz. [Phonetics: e/i]. It's translated as yew, a tree whose wood is considered to be the fire guardian, since it makes hot embers endure. The tree is also related to the transitional time towards death, or towards something new after hard times. It tells of strength, trust, and protection for battles.
Perthro. [Phonetics: p]. Of unknown translation, it's the back and forth flowing force through the yew tree, so it refers to the consequences from the past, and fate. It's also the rune of mystic knowledge, since it's related to fortune-telling, psychic activities, secretism, revelations and mysteries. It tells there's a connection with the occult, and points to hidden places. It suggests keeping silent and, in forecasts, announces that luck arrives, for example presents and legacies.
