From 10.23 to 11.21, the Sun transits on Scorpio every year. Anciently, the sign was ruled by Mars but since the last century is ruled by Pluto, the outermost planet of the solar system, the farthest and coldest one. Scorpio is assigned to five Egyptian Tarot cards (Kier Ed.), a deck also including it in the Alchemy of solar fire. Accordingly, Ares and Artemis are the Greek deities related to a sign of great visceral and deadly passions.
The current solar month is a time to be prepared for the future. Let's foresee easily extreme states, so people may take care of it all: body, mind, emotions, private and outer areas... A force, a tendency, a process, are at full progress and conquering a zone: I Ching tells of attending to a victory or taking part in it, depending on our position.
In classic and esoteric Astrologies, Scorpio counts on several rulers: Pluto, Mars, Mercury and Neptune, which are key masses in the development of fixated signs (Taurus, Leo, the very Scorpio & Aquarius). And, according to Karmic Astrology, Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces) use to be the best ones to make a connection: they bring and express spirits on Earth.
indexScorpio is assigned to two major cards: Retribution (10) and Twilight (18). And Pluto the ruler is included in two major cards and two minor ones: Retribution (10), Inspiration (19), Uncertainty (28) and Constriction (55).

Those mundane costs oftenly remain out of perception, and the Sun's cards provide the necessary sensibility about it... In extreme situations, retiring includes objects, bodies and even freedom. All of it becomes Pluto's property, in its own dimension.
There, it has it all. From there, it frees space here so the solar mate starts generating one more time. Pluto activates the Sun's potency by taking wealth away. Life, wealthness, death and potency are relative to a process exceeding the current moments, the situation or question in the cards reading.
It's a matter of perspective (processes) and perception (light - darkness). The cards strictly related to the Sun are key cards but, if they're not displayed in the spread, we should consider them anyway for assigning the right value to those next to Pluto's cards. The evolution or involution of those cards, and of the solar dispositions, depend on it.
Scorpio activates the generative potency of the Sun during very special psychic moments and during raw physical moments. This is indicated by the only card out of the Sun's series since, for doing that, it straightly goes to its partner, the echoing Earth that is receiving the electric Uranus. Vital energy enters the place, where it was some time ago although removed later. What's next belongs to the meeting of the Sun and Moon, when breath comes back to life and blood is: the affairs recover a pulse, there will be growth and new developments.

KWAN Viewing
20. Emptiness is not generative (destructive cycle).
A month to seat and wait, while looking at the way the flow slows down, not trying to retain and, instead, deepening into meditation, and stopping judgements and reasoning, for a while. A time of a seemingly passivity while the world is contemplated and watched from a panoramic view. There might be difficult situations, not being possible to make resolutive decisions about them. And this weak active potency may catch other people's attention... How to practically handle things with no structure or solid resources? A time to observe and watch, both inside and outside.

34. Actions lose effectiveness and provide energy (destructive cycle).
Expectations will be higher as the month passes by. But there might be a brief delay in plans, a little move backwards for taking a renewed impulse later. These weeks will be just the times preceding a great determination about the own purposes. A gate is about to be opened while we prepare for the last phases of the chosen course and arrange things for resolutive actions. Plain and clear statements are coming: it is time for it. If differences with the surrounding environment, they won't mean a big thing: it' a good time to be clear about the own preferences and position, cease continuation if necessary, and make a stand about the own affairs, with or without obstinacy.
Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius are all fixated signs, always active during developmental phases. They follow courses and pathways, and take empty spaces for generation and production. When the Sun is in Scorpio, the four fixated signs are developed in a very particular way.
Among the Olympian deities, Scorpio is related to Ares and Artemis: blood, fighting to death and final victory. About Ares, read the previous newsletter delivery, since Geek deities rule two signs of the Zodiac: Ares rules both Libra and Scorpio.

People born between 10.23 and 11.21.24 will count on a deep sharp perception on themselves and especially on other people: about diverse interests, differences making them apart, lacks and unequal focuses. Many times, these situations will give them a reason to take action and fight for more tolerance, equity and common wellfare. Some exceptions: groups born between October 25 and 28, and between November 10 and 13, should callibrate impulses and battles, whereas those born since day 16 should find more reasons for keeping their purposes...
Yazilikaya: the temple of lunar nodes
A set of Hittite reliefs from the XI th c. B.C., in Turkey nowadays, were part of an astral and agricultural calendar based on the cycles of the Sun, Moon and lunar nodes of karma (18-19 years). Of ancient Babylon tradition, two reliefs of Nergal of GIR.TAB., the god of desert later associated to Mars and Scorpio, indicated the end of cycles. And, like Pluto-Sun relation in Tarot cards, Nergal was quite related to the god Shamash of UR.GULA. (Leo).
Fortune paintings
Seven Renaissance paintings display the art of Chiromancy as something beyond what is seen. Paintings are for discovering since they show and hide, seduce and mislead, always around fortune as the main subject. Mystery surrounds fortune-telling, a practice becoming attractive as it reveals the unknown, brings what is occult to the surface by using precognition, and transmits messages that may come from other worlds.
Perceive, believe, know...
A brief note on medium.com is a comment on one of Charles Fort's phrases in The book of the damned. The name of the book refers to guilt and penalty. Who are the damned? The author was a Leonine researcher of anomalous and weird phenomena, for which there are no rational explanations. The book firstly mentions what is usually excluded from scientific reasoning, and why is excluded. Mysteries, the undesciphered, the uncommon and big unknowns challenge reality and beliefs.

Among friends and relatives, it shares humor and creative characteristics although it takes sentimental relationships very seriously.

It also provides an impressive mental acuity and great insistence about the way to make a progress or take things ahead. Inside of its own space, Beaver is loyal, kind, giving and supportive.

Trees of Celtic tradition
Tree spirits are assigned according to lunar months, which begin at different dates than solar months do. When the Sun is in Scorpio, Ivy and Reed spirits flourish. Ivy spirit raises until 10.27 although has been present since before, when the Sun was in Libra. About this spirit, come back to the previous newsletter delivery dedicated to the sign.
People born between 10.28 and 11.24, are assigned to Ngetal spirit (also called Reed in Gallic). The plant is associated to NG character, which in Chiromancy corresponds to the second phalanx of the middle finger, and the latter is astrologically associated to Virgo and its ruler, Mercury.
It's the only plant in the Celtic tradition not growing from wood, and flourishes when the Nordic year ends. It means wound and healing, and is used in talismans for protection. The other chiromantic and astrological associations indicate a careful disposition to work, dedication and a scientific type of reasoning rather than imaginative, since Mercury is related to Medicine.
It's also considered as an invasive bush that extends over walls and trunks, creating a kind of an entangled termic isolation around the surface it is clinged to. It grows fast while getting into and adhering easily to cracks on the surface. And a dense foliage protects numerous insects since they find a safe habitat under leaves.
It's reproduced by several ways: by horizontal stems extended under the surface (rhizomes), by other stems extended upon the surface (stolons), and rarely by seeds. Stems are large, thick, rigid, brancheless, hollowed, and grows straight from 2 to 14 ft in dense groups.Leaves are enrolled as buds and go narrow in the stem. They're wide, rigid, plain, and outlined by ribs in the upper area. Like stems, flowers form dense clusters holding within many large branches that point up to the sky. There are masculine and feminine flowers, all of them surrounded by white silky hairs changing colors as they mature (from violet to dark brown and, finally, reddy brown).Masculine flowers form a narrow spike, with stamens that will wither later. Feminine flowers form the classic oval-shaped brown spike, dense and large, reaching up to 11.8" long and up to 1.57" wide. When mature, the head of the flower seems like a leather, and disintegrates like a cottoned spongy fluff as seeds are spread with the wind. This is the monthly newsletter publicly shared by Tres Mancias.
