From May 20 th to June 20 th, the Sun transits Gemini every year. The sign is ruled by Mercury, the planet of voice, commerce, and communications. The sign is also represented by the figures of two twins, alluding to the duality of experience. But in the Egyptian Tarot by Ed. Kier, it only corresponds to one arcana, the famous and feared number 13. And among the Greek deities, it's associated with Apollo and Hermes: the god of music and the god of travelers.
This solar month announces a final stretch of transition in each Hemisphere. In the North, it's time to exercise determination, aware of the dangers that excesses and final bets could bring. In the South, it's time to say goodbye to the last attempts, to not force things before their time, saving energy and reserving it for expression much later, when the Sun can expand it through its heat atoms. I Ching refers to these moments with the hexagrams Kuai Overflow (43) and Po Disintegration (23).
For classical and esoteric Astrology, Gemini has several rulers: Mercury, Venus, and Earth, key planets for the development of the mutable signs (Gemini itself, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). And, according to Karmic Astrology, the Air signs (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) become very selective as the years go by: the soil they sow is not extensive but very special.
indexOnly one major arcana is assigned to Gemini: Immortality (13).
Northern Hemisphere
KUAI Overflor
43. The last step before (productive cycle).
It's time to decide. But there are variables that aren't being taken into account and could go unnoticed. It takes time and sensitivity to notice them. A month to open up to what the external world can bring, establishing exchange channels for the entry of information, knowledge, and sensations. Internally, there'll be no doubts or dangers, and productivity and efficiency will be excellent. There'll be an active upward trend, with an internal drive for progress and determination when it comes to separating, diverging, differentiating, or making broad decisions. Things will easily reinforce each other, to the point that what is beneficial could surpass one's own capacities or tools of containment. Regulating will be difficult, but the increase in resources and actions aims to move fully forward.
Southern Hemisphere
PO Splitting-Apart
23. Waiting for the dark (productive cycle).
Change will not be resisted. Obstructions will rarely remain for long, and those that exist will disappear: internal forces will be unable to sustain the weight of circumstances. The solid pillars that provide strength will weaken, and external pressures could cause a collapse, because yang, light, the active force, comes from outside. All this may seem dangerous, and conflictive situations will likely arise in the quest to remain. But this is part of a process, a cycle that is about to end. It will not be possible to fortify the situation or strengthen oneself and face the demands of the emerging world. Now, things will fall under their own weight, in their own tendency, with their outdated forms, in their evident deterioration. In the roots, bases, or foundations, and even in thought, there's nothing but emptiness.
Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces are all mutable signs. They govern the processes of change that transform spirit and matter, especially in the psychic and physical realms. Their movements encompass everything and thus prepare the final stages for new developments: they are the mechanisms, the means, the instruments. And when the Sun is in Gemini, the four mutable signs unfold in a particular way.
Among the deities of Olympus, Gemini is associated with Apollo and Hermes: music and travel. About Apollo, read the previous delivery of the newsletter, since the Greek deities have double regency in the Zodiac: Apollo rules both Taurus and Gemini.
Generally speaking, they'll have to make choices without hesitation: their driving force will depend on them. Furthermore, any duality should be discarded without further ado, and instead, opt for unique, clear positions that reflect a defined interest and tendency. Those born between June 13 and June 15 will need to connect with the Earth element, seeking practicality, organization, and material security. But for all these births, the voice of conscience and a panoramic vision will often be like a great compass or guide to navigate through time, throughout their entire lives.
Tarots Milà
Casa Milà is a house building by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. Its famous rooftop, filled with staircases and sculptures, offers a design that invites you to unravel arcana and discover alchemical paths. Through them, changes occur in internal and external experiences. But this duality is ultimately transcended through transformations in which different decks finally come together and are revealed as part of a single path.

Trees of Celtic tradition
Tree spirits are defined by the lunar months, which begin on dates other than the solar months. When the Sun is in Gemini, the spirits of the Huath and the Oak flourish. The Huath spirit appears before the beginning of the month of Gemini, between May 13 th and June 9 th. The rest of the solar month belongs to the Oak spirit. Regarding the Huath spirit, who has already appeared before, when the Sun was transiting Taurus, read again the previous delivery of the newsletter dedicated to the sign of the bull.
People born between June 10 th and July 7 th belong to the spirit of the Oak (called Duir in Gallic). From the word duir derives druid, a term meaning door. The tree is associated with the letter D, which in Chiromancy corresponds to the first phalanx of the index finger. The finger is also associated with the Water element, with the Mount of Jupiter at its base. The Oak is the tree of the strong, and indicates courage, independence, and stability.
It grows between 65 and 131 ft. tall. With a wide trunk, the mature bark is rough and grooved, producing very hard and resistant wood. Mistletoe often grows in the canopy, and for this reason, the Oak is a ritual tree. It's also a very long-lived tree, able to live up to 1,000 years.
The leaves display different shades of green. There are male flowers in catkins, and female flowers that transform into acorns, which grow as clustered fruits.
