Between September 22 and October 23, the Sun transits Libra, and the annual period is ruled by Venus. It's also the time of the autumnal equinox (Northern Hemisphere) and Spring equinox (Southern Hemisphere), when day and night are of very similar length. This time of great balance between light and darkness is expressed by I Ching as two hexagrams that also balance the relation of Hemispheres: P'i Stagnation (12) for the Autumn season, and T'ai Peace for the Spring season. This second annual cycle of the Newsletter also includes predictions for the first month of each season.
In the Egyptian Tarot, the number 17 is the number of Libra. The arcane is Hope and, along with the Aquarian and Marseille cards, they refer to diverse meanings that light itself may acquire: what is above related to the ascension to the stars, what is below related to a child seeing light at birth. And, in both places, there's darkness, either.
Libra is the sign of relationships, art and interpersonal dance. Its best-known symbol is the scales, eternally seeking balance in relativity. And, since it's about personal relationships, this Newsletter delivery includes an article to meditate on them from an astrological perspective.
Finally, Libra is associated to three Norse runes. In the calendar, the first of them is Kaun (Kenaz), and is the continuous sound during the passage from Virgo to Libra.

Good luck! You count on the necessary references to handle your situation, find guidance and take a step beyond the current order of things. This step is a double bet; it's a coat upon a coat, a larger cube upon a smaller one, which must be followed and imitated.The order of things finds a greater containing order, and within that order, one must handle things around. Life multiplies as it is, in its own nature, in its own state. The Egyptian and Marseille cards lead in a downward movement, and indicate commitment to worldly affairs. Exhibiting talents will come later, as now is the time to create the colors that will ascend.Lighthouses guide. The found references to produce a specific result have been named The Star. Macro-situations show how life is replicated on larger scales, the outline of the outline, that larger cube. Life beyond life has been named Hope. This something beyond, beyond the Earth, beyond life, even beyond the person itself, is something recurrent in the 17th Arcanum.

Northern Hemisphere
Natural cycle. In it, the expansion and contraction of beings and things always happen, at their own pace and time.
P'i Stagnation (12). Production cycle towards heaven.
P'i represents decreased vitality: matters don't have much chance of lasting or bearing fruits, or at least there won't be a receptive context or environment. In private matters, there's a lack of the necessary qualities, knowledge or practical skills, or there are weak intentions. At this time of the year, making decisions benefit no one, and actions clearly lead to the deterioration of everything and everyone. The causes that decrease vital energy can also come from the environment. The hexagram suggest abandoning, letting go, leaving it to chance, ceasing to push forward, since the act has already been played out. If still insisting on desires, P'i indicates that there's no receptivity and that the energy doesn't circulate. Without free space, then ideas, thoughts, tasks, and people are witnessing their own deterioration.
Forecast. Other movements happen within the framework provided by the natural cycle.
HSIAO KUO Preponderance of the Small (62). Complement: FENG Fullness (55)
It's a forecast of ignition. The forms that were preserved, the certainties that served as foundation and support, will give way. It's a month to make internal things visible: treasures and reserves will no longer be hidden or guarded, and will be used to progressively calm what happens in the external world, outside doors, in the social sphere, and shared actions. After raising awareness and clarifying understanding, greater tranquillity can be achieved, and some disturbing circumstances can be somewhat calmed. It'll not be a month to look away, but to face matters in all their magnitude and importance.
Southern Hemisphere

T'AI Peace (11). Reductive cycle towards the earth.
After vigorous, open, and sustained actions over time, the affairs now seem to be working together (even if those actions weren't entirely measured or harmonious). Perhaps there isn't necessarily equality, similarity, or satisfaction, but rather a temporary arrangement between beings and things. Communion and the assumption of specific places and attributes come at a cost, and this is accepted as such. The hexagram suggests reflecting on what is best and possible given the circumstances. The best relates to what makes motion possible. In any case, we must look at the situation carefully since the current conditions may change, and the arrangements could fall apart. Furthermore, there's something vital in the present moment that prevents deterioration (perhaps a resource, specific conditions, or someone on whom people depend).
Forecast. Other movements happen within the framework provided by the natural cycle.
TIN Cauldron (50). Complement: WEI CHI Before Completion (64)
The forecast begins with the image of the wind fanning a fire: it animates and keeps it alive, and regulates it with variable strength, allowing for the careful cooking of a tasty and special meal. But all this could be lost when the care and singular attention change and are replaced by antagonisms and struggles to prevail (instead of disappearing). It should be noted that the situation at the beginning of the month includes unidirectional tendencies, that beings and things don't always complement each other, that the most general situations don't attract people to each other. The tension will be enough to prompt a reshuffling of the cards, and this move will go on for quite some time. And, of course, the previous work will be lost along the way.

Vital Astrology is Astrology about motion in natal karma, in the development of elementals, and in the exercise of free will. Libra develops Aquarius, Virgo, and also Libra within itself, in one more turn of the spiral.
Vital development
The more time passes by, the less the sign knows where it stands on... It senses very well the extension of environments and people, or the magnitude of the very situations in which it participates.
It quickly intuits what is compatible or not, and when it's not possible to adapt, it can become somewhat imperative to change things and redefine criteria, relationships, utilities, or whatever is obstructing shared life and common growth. And it'll always look for reasons to do so and justify itself.
It also tends to make connections in different ways because it displays different qualities depending on each circumstance and person: with discipline, providing mutual benefits and growth, establishing a subtle but profound influence...
Free will
The sign tends to lean towards communication, especially anything related to comprehensive and far-reaching methods and techniques. It prefers flexible yet focused methods, adaptable but also assuming some kind of purpose.
It can also have a good dose of ambition that drives it to pursue what it yearns for, even if the interests are abstract ones. It leans towards what brings vitality and creativity, both to itself and to others.
And with this sign, something happens that doesn't always happen: even when it becomes part of something, shows an active participation, and starts exchanges with groups and across environments, it's quite difficult for it to end up weakened or to lose interest or dedication once it has placed it in something or someone...
Karma
The sign will often stop to think about practical matters. Since it usually lives in the Air, it only comes into contact with more concrete matters when it looks around and sees the material conditions in which it lives.
It's very skilled at getting what it needs, using means, contacts, and relationships: it simply unfolds life that way. This karma produces a particular way of getting things on its own, and through activities requiring more time, perseverance, and concentration.
It will also become somewhat less strict in his methods and criteria, but more astute in daily life. And it will very likely aim to extend and make last as long as possible what it considers best or most beneficial.
Alternating is a special karmic characteristic for the sign, especially to concentrate and disperse at the same time, or integrate and differentiate.

The sign of the scales and relationships can significantly alter the environment because it is so immersed in it. What it tries to extend beyond itself will not last long unless some kind of logical order is included. Otherwise, chaos, dispersion, disunity, and a resonance that exalts everything arise: it will not know what to do.
Another important evolutionary subject is keeping this same disposition to extend and extend itself toward others or the environment over time: remaining only in the beauty of what has been achieved, in the personal area, may exclude everything that doesn't meet those characteristics...
The birth charts for Libra's month display strong opposing tendencies, and there will be many counterweights on the scales. Northern HemisphereMoon's rising sign: Virgo. Ruler: Mercury.Wit, words, and thoughts have generated karmic restrictions. What has been achieved through them? What means have been used to achieve them? Inspiration, the innermost will, that which lies beyond words themselves, will not be easy to find. But the present time offers other very good motives to be developed, which could be grasped spontaneously and freely: to make life progress whenever possible and to advance in the sexual sphere (in any of its expressions). It's important to recognise the own tendencies in these subjects, and that the undertaken actions become clear, direct, and conscious.
Southern HemisphereMoon's rising sign: Pisces. Ruler: Neptune.Psychic energy, especially in its everyday use, is immense and very precise. It could also produce total effects: these birth charts are charts of liberation, both for themselves and for others. They dissolve, clear, and also withdraw from the mundane realm. Enjoyment and physical pleasures could be natives' link to the world, but those experiences won't generate karmic ties in the future. Furthermore, the mechanisms for creating, transforming, and recreating, again and again, are very well known. But, in general terms, the tendency is a karma of definitive farewells.index
Lunar months last approximately 29 days, and are very useful to consider short-term purposes. The beginning of the month is for setting tendencies, and the effects can be fully observed 15 days later. The rest of the month is for decreasing the initial tendency and freeing space for the new cycle to come. The Sun in Libra is present for the first time under the New Moon in Virgo (see the newsletter previous delivery).FULL MOON. The phase begins on October 7, with Moon at 14º Aries, and the Sun at 14º Libra. Vital awareness, especially physical awareness, will be key to deciding about the remnants that have been worked on since the last New Moon. This phase, the Full Moon, is a good time for not continuing with sharpness from the past and for cancelling restarts.NEW MOON. The phase begins on October 21 at 28ª Libra. A cycle of regulation begins: the luminaries will know how to do it, especially when it comes to vital issues such as life, death, birth, and the chaotic tendencies of the time. It's also a very good phase for making big balances and manoeuvring accurately among antagonisms.
Northern HemisphereThe Mind is a gift for transmuting this monthly Moon. It seems the path is given, and the most appropriate thought, the most contextual reasoning, will emerge practically effortlessly. Beyond fixated modes and paths, there are alternatives, and they will be known. It's a cycle to close processes perfectly: everything that has happened during this time will complete its function and then shift to another area. Thus, other options, situations, and relationships could be developed in the future. The Moon's density ends instantly.
Southern HemisphereThere are well-defined goals and interests, and it won't be easy to leave them behind. They clearly express the most intimate motivations, and a conflictive scenario is even preferred over a lighter, more harmonious or detached one. Conflicts are of both a karmic and current origin, and it will be very hard to withdraw vital energy from them and lead it toward other areas and experiences. Everything converges toward the same point: this monthly Moon indicates that the same transmutation is meant to fuel battles and cancellations, as it happens between Fire and Water, two antagonistic elements that fight each other with no breaks.
Synastries: affinity
When two natal charts are compared, the reading is called synastry. It refers to personal relationships, and therefore, it studies the predominant elements in each chart, the changes over time, what remains fixated, and what becomes dynamic. The runes were introduced to mankind as sounds coming from Odin's mouth. To symbolize it, the runes or "secret letters" were carved into woods, bones, leather, and stones.
Kaun (Kenaz, from September 13 to 28) - Gebo (until October 13) - Wunjo (until October 28)
Kaun. [Phonetics: k] It's translated as torch, lamp, brand, sore, and ulcer. The rune tells of passion, enthusiasm and optimism, which are useful traits to take risks, keep a steady course, and accept responsibilities. It also tells of intensity, sexuality, fertility and creativity, especially in craftmanships and magical activities. In general terms, there's light, heat and transformation: the vision remains clear even inside of complicated situations, and intuitive solutions can be reached based on knowledge, illuminations and revelations. In forecasts, the same light and intensity cause negative omens, such as discomfort, illness, and loss of color.
Gebo. [Phonetics: g] Translated as "gift," it's likened to the spokes of a wheel. It refers to the exchanges between a person and the environment, such as the acts of breathing in and out. It indicates generosity, friendly relations, collaboration, and reciprocity within the framework of laws, contracts or oaths. Predictively, it foretells a partnership or marriage, commitments, and business ventures. However, if reversed, it indicates greed, deprivation, enmity and jealousy, imbalance, destruction, and the predominance of one of the parties.
Wunjo. [Phonetics: w] It's translated as joy and pleasure. It indicates harmony, fulfilment, salvation, happiness, prosperity, comfort, wellness and ecstasy. It heralds a period of calm and peace.
