Friends of Alexandra Park is a voluntary group whose aims are promoting the use of Alexandra Park, encouraging conservation of wildlife, and protecting the Park from unwanted development.

Membership is open to all who support these aims, and are willing to make the annual contribution of £5 per household, or £20 for five years. See Join.

Our current paid-up membership, in 2022, is over 300 families.

The Friends of Alexandra Park is run by a committee, and other volunteers.

We organise walks and talks.

We represent the views of Park users to the Board of the Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust.

We send monthly newsletters to our members, who have priority booking rights to walks and talks organised by the Friends.

We invite members to occasional work days in the Park.

We run the Park Visitor Centre, where visitors can find out more about the Park.
