This was part of the project to install drainage and irrigation at the Alexandra Club sports pitches. (See Heartlands school under Park Issues)
We are pleased to see that a new water tank, near the sports pavilion, is now being placed below ground.
The Friends voiced their concerns, earlier in the year, regarding the original proposal to site the tank above ground.
