Percussion

Percussion/Drumline is its own family of instruments that make sound when struck, hit, and shaken. These are: drums, snare, bass, marimba, xylophone, cymbals, shaker, maracas, etc. Percussion is the heart of the band, and we can't keep time without them. Drumline performs with the band, and on their own at various events. During the spring, they even have their own competitions against other drumlines. For fun, they perform in "drum battles" where they show off their skills to other drumlines and listen to each other play.
