Colorguard

Colorguard is our flag/equipment team.

During the Fall, Colorguard is known under the name 'Monarch Royal Brigade' and perform with band and drumline. They provide the visual, storytelling, color, and movement to the music that band and drumline plays. They perform at home football games, at assemblies and pep rallies, at parades throughout the County, and at the District Fall Showcase.

During the Winter/Spring, Colorguard is known under the name 'Winter Guard' and put together their own indoor show to compete with and perform at events and assemblies.

Equipment that Guard uses:

• Flags

• Rifles (NOT real rifles. It's a military tradition.)

• Sabres (Again, NOT real or sharp. Also a military tradition.)

• Ribbons

• Banner

• Props (umbrellas, canes, candy canes, feather boas, balls, scarves, etc)

• Anything else we can think of that could be tossed, spun, or danced with!
